I just installed two 40' lengths of these new LED rope lights in the trey ceiling to replace the old rope lights that had finally burned out. Installation would've been MUCH easier with two people, but I managed alone with the strategic usage of duct tape to hold the rope in place as I maneuvered the ladder around the room. The attached photo shows how bright these LEDs are at full power (they're wired into a dimmer wall switch) on this sunny afternoon. I can't wait for sunset to see the warm glow on reduced power while watching tv. Speaking of the wall switch/dimmer: these lights worked out of the package with the original dimmer switch in my wall, I'm super glad that I didn't have to purchase a new one.! when I flip the wall switch to OFF, the LEDs are totally turned off, and when sliding the dimmer there is a very nice range of power. The lights were packaged received in a timely manner (PRIME) and I immediately plugged 'em in to ensure both were in working order - they were. There wasn't any odor or off-gassing thank goodness. I did need to trim about 4 foot off the last section .. held my breath hoping I wasn't going to screw the pooch... and made the cut in the marked area with no issues at all. Thanks to CBConcepts for such a quality product !!

This is a great product if you want Dimmable white LED rope light which is now hard to find. LPros: bright, dimmable. No adapter needed. Can be used with wall dimmer.Light temperature is higher than advertised. I would put it at 3500k.Cons: can only be cut every foot and a half so less flexibility in installation. Rope is thick and bulky to work with. Need a screwdriver with a big grip but tiny head for fasteners.

I went out on a limb with this product as I couldn't really find any reviews about it beforehand. For my particular application, I wanted to have the LED's being protected by plastic (being incased) as for easy cleaning. And these rope lights do fit that bill. They are surrounded by heavy plastic.As for the product quality, only time will tell, but, so far so good.The only drawback I found with these lights, are, instructions describe you'll be able to cut them - to size - only about every 18 inches or so; no shorter intervals. (Other 5050's LED rope light products can be cut as frequently as every 3 inches). So this may ask you for compromises in your lighting project.Also you need to find a dimmer switch, which will turn them down (all the way) even in the "off position". (A "common" problem with LED lights). The Cooper Wiring Devices DI06P dimmer switch did it finally in my case. (Didn't work with L**ron- & L***ton-dimmers).

We are using these lights to rear-illuminate some very old stained glass windows in frames. CBconcepts products and service have been excellent. We have just added some additional windows we have restored and are adding more of these lights!

unfortunately, they started a Christmas light war on the block. I think that's not a bad thing. LOL

Used this product for our 10X10 hardcover Gazebo. Easy to install and excellent with the feature to adjust the intensity of lighting. Excellent.

Great lights! but they do not turn completely off with Lutron dimmers. Sort of like having a night light. And I'm sure the cost is very minimal. Have to live with that as Lutron is my choice.

The lights are very bright. I like the fact that they can be cut to length. CBConcepts stands behind their products.
