Cucumber in Brine, Lactofermented - BioFood

I love the taste! The only thing is they are not crispy like other brands but that’s fine with me

This is the REAL lacto-fermented cucumbers as done traditionally in Poland. Not the vinegar-acidified variety that is cheap(er), more frequently sold and, sadly, totally unhealthy. However, I can't justify the price of almost 10 pounds a jar. This is a bit over the top. So, in a word: it's good, it's the healthy traditional variety (that helps your good guts bacteria), but too expensive :((( I've found an online shop where such a jar costs 4.5 pounds. Well, people, do not buy this here. This is a total rip-off. I would recommend this because it's healthy and real but at the same time - please, do not buy it here. You don't want to be a sucker. The seller should be ashamed for what they're doing >:\

Compared to many other cucumbers in brine I have purchased from specialist stores for the last couple of years this one is the least tasty. I will not buy it again.

Tasty and just like I would expect fermented cucumber to be. I am a bit confused as to why it is pasteurised and yet explains about it being good for health. However, I am glad that there's no sugar in this recipe. Rather expensive so I can't buy it often. Otherwise it would be a weekly purchase.

Although passable they didn't have the flavour that I was used to - not like the Polish ones stocked locally until the Polish community dwindled!

Chemical taste.
