This product is reliable and convenient. I have short hair, by choice, and this wand gives me the appearance of volume. I love it! I always order so that I have one on hand. Great.

I use this product to curl my hair. It is easy to handle, but gets extremely hot on the high setting so please be careful.

I normally buy my curling irons at a local beauty supply store, but the last two didn't last long. I thought I would try online and found this one. It is a very well made iron. I find that it heats up quickly and reliably, and does a very good job of curling my short, baby-fine hair. (I bought the 1/2 inch barrel.) The little brushes are removable for cleaning and the handle is nicely shaped so your hand doesn't get tired. This was a bargain at the price. And i am looking good!

I received this brush iron at the begining of January, 2013. Today, February 12, 2013, it no longer is working. What a disappointment! This is not the first one I have bought of this brand. The first one I bought lasted about 3 years or so, the next one I bought lasted about one and half years. So it seems like the quality has steadily declined to where it lasts only a month. On top of that, I am just 12 days past the return period on this ..... how convienent for them! I have already located another brand that I will be buying now - won't be returning to Helen of Troy brand again.

The size was what I needed, but it didn’t seem to grab my hair very well and it definitely did not get very hot:(. I’m returning this and going to buy a real Helen of Troy off eBay!

Having very fine hair I need a half inch curling brush to hold the curl. They are very hard to find in the store. So easy to order online.This one is perfect and easy to order.

i LOVE this thing! after six years of daily use, it is still going strong! sometimes the bristles don't always hold short fine hair very well, but a very light spritz of hair spray before you start will take care of that problem. one cool feature is the square slot in the blue "cool tip" end (you have to look for it cuz it blends in with the other curved indentations all around the edge) - if you turn the tip so that slot lines up with a row of bristles, you can slide the bristles out. this makes it much easier to clean - and if you use any hair product, you know that's a big plus. just be aware that the blue tip can get turned (especially if you hold it when curling your hair), so check it occasionally to make sure it's not lined up with a row of bristles; otherwise, they could slide out unexpectedly. but i absolutely love mine!

Within just a few weeks of buying, now 2 of the entire bristle bars just slid right off the iron. I still use it because its all I have right now but really wish I had bought the Conair instead. Also does not shut off on its own after a while if you forgot to switch off, which I was under the impression had this feature. Otherwise I like the feel of it and size of curl, just wish it was made a little better.

Got it for my mom. A small barrel size was difficult to find. Works great . My mom is very happy with it.

Does a good job on my short hair get quite hot but does not harm the hair.This is my second one.

it is the worse experience ever,i bought this for my mom cause she needs something light and easy to use on her hair, but the brush melted in her hair with the first try and turn to plain metal so when i face timed her she showed me the brush and said that the brush burnt her head and the plastic melted on got stuck in her hair so i m very shamed and sad that my mother got this HORRIBLE brush i bought this cause i saw that it had 5 stars which was a LIE ,how would you feel if this happens to you, like literal when my mom told me i didn't believe her so she face-timed me and showed me a piece of metal which was this STUPID brush
