Zebra lamp, 12" x 12" x 20"

The colors are chocolate solids and "stripes", the background is a deep cream color. The stripes are more like flame shapes. The shade is your standard burnt sun or pumpkin lampshade color. I was looking around at my other lampshades, this lampshade is very standard in color.It comes packed professionally, you are unlikely to have any broken parts.I just measured it's dimensions sitting assembled on my table: 20 inches tall, 13 inches diameter on the shade.I put a 15 Watt CFL bulb in it and with that the lamp's light is warm and unobtrusive except for the top hole on the shade, the bulbs light is right there and the light is shooting out of that hole fiercely however a 15 Watt CFL cannot really hurt your eyes and the shade covers the bulb completely unless you get above the lamp and look down at it.The manufacturer recomends a 40 Watt maximum standard incandescent bulb. I say CFL's use less power, produce less heat, last much longer and have a nicer light, so you make your own choices.This lamp is a great value and very appealing to the eye. Thumbs up, five stars.

These are cute lamps, I just wish they were a little bigger. I needed neutral colors and collect zebras, so they worked for my color scheme. If they ever make them in a bigger, taller and wider base, I would love to be notified.

These are adorable! They're perfect for a bedside lamp, and they work really well for a zebra themed room. I love the cream/black combination, it gives everything a nice tone. The only downside is that they are very light, and easy to tip over.

THE PICTURE MAKES IT SEEM BIGGER THAN WHAT IT IS. ITS ACTUALLY A VERY SMALL LAMP. I DID READ THE DIMENSIONS OF THE LAMP BUT STILL WAS SHOCKED WHEN OPENED IT. DON'T GET ME WRONG IT IS A VERY NICE LAMP, GOOD QUALITY TOO!

This is a nice lamp that is used in our daughter's zebra-themed room. The only thing I don't like about it is that it is a bit tippy--easy to knock over. So, it may not be good for younger, more rambunctious kids.

Nice overall shape (proportionally correct) and the shade is just the right color when the lamp is on. With a 6 watt LED bulb, most of the light shines up nicely with the right level of down light for proper illumination for reading notes and telephone use, without the need to use a dimmer.If I don't get accustomed to the zebra stripes I'll paint them all black. Overall, a great lamp.

My lamp came with the metal frame of a lightbulb wedged inside the lightbulb socket-the glass part of the lightbulb had obviously broken off however there were no glass shards from the previous light bulb. Kind of shocked that this escaped quality control at the factory or else I was sold a previously used lamp that was returned by another customer. Whatever-I returned it and will try to avoid this manufacturer in the future. Amazon granted me an immediate refund upon a phone call and explanation so many thanks to them for excellent customer service-the poor quality of the lamp was not their fault-they're only a marketer/reseller.

Arrived with damaged box and as a result, damaged lamp shade. Refund was quick, and the lamp was picked up to be returned by the next day. The lamp appeared to be a little small to use as bedside. I wound up ordering a different pair of lamps.
