Machine Shop approved!
We purchased a set of these for use in our machine shop. Always lots of metal and wood slivers and they haven't failed yet. These work so well, I purchased 8 more sets!

NOT WORTH THE TROUBLE, WHERE DID THESE REVIEWS COME FROM ?
After leaving a one star review and returning the tweezers and having received a refund, I received another set in the mail, stating that this set was checked by the seller, i was being given a new set, and I could be assured that this set was checked before sending and was representative of the "high quality tweezers" being sold by Bodyline. Initially this appeared to be a honest effort to correct an odd mistake, and I was hoping that this new set would be as good as the reviews seem to indicate.I consider myself an expert on tweezers, having suffering from a rare medical condition that requires me to use tweezers daily, sometimes for hours, over the last 15 years. I have been through the rise and fall of tweezerman, who quit using high quality steel for their product, resulting in a uncalibrated and easily worn out product. I always have been looking for a comparable product, with cost being a factor, otherwise I buy high quality swiss tweezers for their durability and precision.I decided to try out the new set that was sent to me, it arrived exactly as the first set. These are bulky poorly made, poorly designed tweezers. They may be adequate for beauty applications where a small amount of large hairs occasionally need removal. These tweezers do not grasp small hairs, would not be anywhere near the quality for ingrown hairs, maybe a very large person could use them for splinter removal.I really have to wonder what sellers think of buyers, as these sellers tried to give me the impression that there are "their" tweezers. I highly doubt that they actually have this set manufactured, most likely, the seller buys them from a distributor, and they are simply mass marketed.I have purchased tweezers at Walgreens, 4 pair for $10.00, that far exceed the calibration and steel quality of this crap.I went ahead and purchased a pair of swiss tweezers, as their reputation and quality are well known, and the price well worth it.If you need tweezers from time to time, a swiss pair, running $20 to $30 a pair, would be a life time investment. These tweezers sold here will quickly be a frustration, and end up in the trash, probably AFTER you left some great review.I was hoping that the new suprize set that was sent to me would prove me wrong, as it would be great to find a pair at this price that I could use. I understand that sometimes a person gets a "bum" product, and I do not want good honest sellers to suffer loss from an odd unlikely event.Unfortunately, these sellers are very much more interested in their sales, and appear to have very little knowledge about tweezers. They really talk up this product, but that is all it is, just good marketing on trash. I was going to up my review to 2 stars, just for the efforts they made to convince me of quality of this product, but they did nothing more than waste my time, and clearly show that they rely of the initial presentation of the set (they look nice), and they rely on people leaving a review before really trying out the product. They also rely on people not having the time or interest to go back and update in inaccurate review. This is theft, all dressed up, and more deceitful in my opinion than armed robbery. No, this is a creative drop seller or the like, I suggest that the ad writers or marketing team find a product to use their otherwise very good marketing. For the seller I suggest you go with what you know, because faking it eventually fails, as in this instance. You see, there ARE some people who "call it like they see it" , who care if others are being swindled, and are willing to help others avoid the same problem.I have laft many other reviews, most positive, but occasionally you find this greedy opportunistic type seller, who thinks they are slick. Fortunately, in the end, the truth ALWAYS comes out. Dont waste your time or money, dont believe everything you read, and dont buy these tweezers they are CRAP.

One out of three
My wife bought these for her own use. She had a pair of Tweezerman tweezers that were lost. I really don't know what all women use tweezers for and honestly, don't really want to know. I use tweezers if I get a splinter. I was surprised when she ordered these. We have an Amazon system in our house. My wife, kids and mom all sign into my account when they are ordering something. They put the items in the cart then I check the next day. Look to see if there's anything else we need and place the order. The last time I looked there were two pairs of Tweezerman tweezers in the cart, but my wife had sent a text telling me not to order them yet. She had found these Bodyline tweezers and wanted to read up on them when she got time. She of course decided to buy these. She wasn't happy with them once they came. The main complaint she had was two of the pairs of tweezers don't close all the way. She said that made them useless on very fine thin hairs. The third pair she said were just okay. So she returned them and bought two different pairs of Tweezerman tweezers. As others have said, the seller can be a bit annoying asking for reviews of these tweezers. I received 5 emails asking for a review. The worst part, the first one came the day after I ordered them. Amazon Prime shipping is fast, but it's not that fast. On a side note, as annoying as those emails can be (especially since they came to my account and not my wife's, who was the one using them), I do respect the company for trying to get feedback on their products. Hopefully it's to use the feedback for improvement and not to try and get more people to buy them based on "good" reviews.I think I was fair in a 3 star rating. If it were me, the one working pair would have been enough, though that would make it overpriced for one pair. I thought the one pair (non-colored) looked more like a surgical tool than tweezers.

Pretty good overall
Overall I like this tweezer set. The pair with the angled tips and the blue precision tips work well. The silver fine tips are nice and sharp, but the tips don't quite meet up right so they aren't really usable. The blue ones work well enough for precision work. The "leather" case works well enough to keep them together in my drawer and keeps the tips from getting really banged up.If the fine tips were more precise, this would be an easy 5 stars. I would say 3.5 stars, I rounded up to 4 because I don't really miss the super fine tips.

I recently purchased the Bodyline product and am amazed at how much more I like the slanted tweezers
I have been using Tweezerman tweezers for years, not thinking that any other brand could compare even though the efficacy of the slanted tweezers greatly diminished within a year (the pointed ones remain sharp for longer). How wrong I was!I recently purchased the Bodyline product and am amazed at how much more I like the slanted tweezers, especially. I tweeze under my eyebrows every day and though I relied more on the Tweezerman pointed tweezers to do the job, I find that the slanted tweezers can remove short hairs far better than the Tweezerman does. The Bodyline pointed tweezers are great but there is not as big a difference between this item and the Tweezerman pointed tweezers. The blue, sharp tweezers included in this set have not been the best for the purposes of pulling eyebrow hairs (I have not been able to get a good enough grip on even the shortest hairs) but I can see how they would be great for removing splinters.Besides the quality of these tweezers is the cost difference between Tweezerman and this product. I spent far more on Tweezerman (even with a discount) than on this set.Of course, the true test will be if these last longer than the Tweezerman slanted tweezers but for now, I am quite happy I switched to this product.
