Works surprisingly well
I have curly hair that takes forever to dry. Bought this product not expecting much and I'm actually pleasantly surprised! I only keep it on for 5 mins (put it over my plopped hair) while I put lotion and makeup on. It cools off immediately and packs up quite small. Also great for adding heat to a leave in treatment. Minor disclaimer: don't get excited about the bonus towel. I use it to scrunch out water. They glue the button on and it falls off easily. Not a good option for plopping unless you want to sew the button on yourself.

You must try it
I am not using it as a hair dryer because I have a natural curly hair. I bought it because it needed something smaller for my deep conditioning. I used it twice already and I love it.

WHAT I WAS HOPING FOR
I WILL ADMIT THAT I WAS SKEPTICAL IN BUYING BUT AFTER LOOKING AT REVIEWS ON UTUBE I TOOK A CHANCE AND WAS GLAD I DID. THE ONLY THING THAT YOU HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT IS MAKING SURE THAT "YOU" HAVE A GOOD DRYER TO USE WITH THIS HOODED DRYER. AND IF YOU DO YOU ARE GOOD TO GO. BECAUSE IT HOLDS ITS HOLD AND STAYS PUT.

Not a good product for curly hair
I was really excited about this product. I read numerous reviews, most were positive, so I just knew I had finally stumbled across the perfect solution for my hair styling needs. It, unfortunately, wasn’t to be the case.First the pluses: It was easy to put on. It was comfortable. While some reviewers advised of heat on the back of their neck, I didn’t have that issue. I had my dryer set on medium heat. The biggest plus was just being able to sit there and not have to do anything while it did it’s thing. I sat propped up in bed, drinking my morning coffee while reading the news on my iPad. The power cord and cap neck were plenty long. Before drying, I had worked in my usual leave in conditioner. My hair was “squishy but not drippy” which, according to my hairdresser, is the optimum stage for applying product to achieve uniform coverage. Took twenty minutes on medium heat to get my hair to damp/almost dry.Now for the minus: The cap smashes your hair so by the time you’re dry, or close to it in my case, the curls come out crimped, kinked, flat, and completely screwed up. My hair is thick but only about shoulder length so it’s not a capacity issue. It’s a design issue. This would be a great product if you dry your hair in curlers. But for us curly girls, it needs some type of cage or structure that gives the hair room.

It is great for short-ish hair
I really wish this were a lot bigger to dry my curly, shoulder length hair. There is a pull cord to keep it from flying off your head. Unlike the first few times, you will learn very quickly how to adjust it! But it is right over the ear! Why?? Why? There is also a snap cord but it is in a place that I can't figure out. Do they want me to snap this on the back of my head? Because it is right in the middle, and I don't want the mark on my forehead but it is hard to snap in the back and not catch your hair in it. OUCH! Seems a little more thought could have gone into this design. I'd like the blower to be on the side because I use my hair dryer on cool setting and it isn't like it is behind me. If it were on the side they could have extended the length of it to allow for longer hair too. Sigh.
