Swarovski5004489 2013 Annual Edition Crystal Star Ornament, Clear, Wedding

I have been purchasing the Swarovski ornaments via Amazon for a few years now, and have never had any issues, but that unfortunately changed this year. My purchase was direct from Amazon, not a Marketplace seller. The ornament arrived in pristine condition, but contrary to the description and the answered questions, the Certificate of Authenticity was NOT included. I have never had that problem before when buying these from Amazon, so I was quite disappointed by that fact. Buyer beware.EDIT (12/3/2013): As of today, the item description states that there is no Certificate of Authenticity included. That was not stated when I ordered this, or wrote this review. Some people also seem to have received theirs with a Certificate of Authenticity, as indicated in other reviews and the "Answered Questions" here on Amazon.EDIT (12/20/2013): In one of the comments of this review, a very helpful person (Lexi O) stated that she has emailed Swarovski and they confirmed that they are no longer including the certificate of authenticity as of this year. What does this mean? Many people have stated that theirs did arrive with a certificate of authenticity. If I had received one of those, I would now be questioning whether or not IT is authentic. As that is now the official word from Swarovski, I am adjusting my previously three-star review up to being a five-star review. This ornament is absolutely gorgeous, and is a true treasure on the tree or an ornament stand.

This is the first Christmas that my husband and I are empty-nesters so I wanted to start new traditions just for the two of us. I happened across this ornament and thought it might be pretty. Let me tell you, the craftsmanship is fantastic and the sparkle is amazing. A picture cannot do it justice. My husband has never had much interest in Christmas... but he can't wait to get this hung on the tree. We've decided to purchase one every year from now on. Thank you Swarovski for being a part of old traditions and new.Update: We’ve kept up our tradition and look forward to it every year. We just received 2018. These never let us down... they are stunning!

The Swarovski ornaments are just so beautiful. We keep one hanging in the window year round and it sends rainbows of light when the sun shines in. These make fabulous gifts for someone celebrating a special year such as a graduation, birth of baby, wedding, etc. because of the year engraved on a tag. I have started giving them to my grandchildren from the date of their birth and each will have a beautiful collection when they are older for their own trees. Amazon has a great price on them.

My uncle has gifted these to me for a long time and this one broke this year on accident. The replacement arrived in perfect condition and with quick timing.

I have been buying the Swarovski annual ornament for years; in fact 2013 was the tenth year. I have always gone into one of their stores for it and happily handed over the $75....don't know what made me think of checking on Amazon but I was amazed to find that it was deeply discounted. When it arrived, it was well packaged ensuring this fragile item would arrive intact. The same blue box and literature from Swarovski was there.What can I say? Amazon is just the absolute best! I have been a Prime member for years and it's the best deal going.The ornament itself is beautiful of course.Thank you Amazon!

A friend sent me one as a gift at Christmas. The lights on the tree make it look fabulous. I had bought snowflakes in previous years and had forgotten just how exquisite Swarovski crystal is. Both my daughters-in-law saw it on the tree and thought it was beautiful - something that surprised me in that their taste in Christmas decor is so much more contemporary than mine and one of them always said they didn't like stars. One of them had been given a Waterford ornament and was just mildly appreciative of it. I bought two of these Swarovski stars on Amazon to give to them as gifts. Now that I know how much they like the crystal stars & snowflakes, I'll make sure they get one every year.

Guaranteed to be a treasured keepsake for yourself, it also makes a lovely Christmas gift for a special friend. (With its delicate silver year tag, it made the perfect Christmas gift for newly married friends on their first Christmas together.) And like snowflakes, each year's design is unique and beautiful! Makes a lovely Christmas "tradition"!

This is the first Swarovski ornament I have purchased. It is SO beautiful! It sparkles like nothing I've ever seen. I bought it in honor of my new granddaughter. I've decided to start a collection for her, and purchase one every year. I didn't expect her to appreciate it until she grows up and moves out on her own. But you should have seen how fascinated she was by the sparkles. 5 months old, and she kept reaching for it. One of my favorite purchases ever! Almost forgot, the price on Amazon was the best.

I have been collecting Swarovski's Christmas Star Ornaments since 1998. They sparkle on the Christmas tree or any where else that is safe to hang. Wonderful gift.

As it says above, this was a gift, and as I was late in arranging the buying I had hoped to send it straight to the recipient [ in USA] as I have done with some other purchases from Amazon. Not sure why, but not possible in this case.Having said that, the gift was much appreciated, arrived unbroken and was beautifully presented.

Ein sehr schöner Weihnachtsstern, der an jeden Baum passt - leider muss man vermutlich mehrere davon kaufen, damit der ganze Baum glitzert. Aber an einer schönen Stelle am Baum ist das Ornament ein Blickfang!Insgesamt ist der Anhänger recht schwer, er hält also nicht an jedem dünnen Zweig :)Die Verpackungsbox eignet sich auch sehr schön als Geschenkbox.

I bought this for a 3rd Wedding Anniversary (Crystal or Leather). You cannot go wrong with Swarovski crystal.The couple I bought this for have it displayed in their house.The only mix-up was the packaging - the box indicated it was the 2015 Christmas Ornament when indeed it was the 2013.
