I’m very satisfied with the design that this product offers when compared to other similar products for sale. The protective housing was what I was mostly interested in. Installation is easy and self explanatory. Upon receiving I tested before installing and noticed one of the rings worked completely while the other didn’t. Only 2 of the led’s worked due to a short caused from installation at the time of manufacturing. Because it’s Christmas and added by the time and hassle it would probably take to contact the sell for an exchange and then return, I just opted to skip all that and fix it myself. I ended up just removing the led strips from both lights that they came with and replaced them with 2 other low voltage strips I already had. This required doing a little soldering plus some know how which I have plenty of so it was relatively quick and easy but I wouldn’t recommend doing this fix yourself if you encounter the same problem unless you know what you’re doing and you except that by doing so you will undoubtedly void any responsibility from the seller to replace. It should be noted that I was able to get the original LED strip working again but since the “white” color function was warmer rather than cooler in appearance I just decided to replace. I do not blame the seller for the defect however I hope this review brings the potential issue to there attention and moving forward they start doing a quick quality control test before shipping to other customers. This review isn’t meant to and shouldn’t discourage anyone from buying especially when you consider all the other satisfied customers. Random defects are unavoidable and I was just the unlucky one this time around.

This light kit arrived fast and Installation was really easy and comes with all the hardware you need. No drilling, The only tool needed was a small Phillips head screw driver. The little remote light controllers work well as long as you are close to the board. They have a short range, but that is not a problem at all. Very well made and defiantly worth the money.Hint: After I finished installing the lights on my Corn Hole boards, I used my little "hot glue gun" to secure the loose wiring to the back of the board. I did this by putting a spot of glue in two different places and it keeps the wires out of the way so they can not be accidently snagged. This really worked out well. Also, after you order your light set, you need to go out and buy two 9 volt batteries. The remote controls (One for each board) comes with batteries, but the light system does not and each board light set requires a 9 volt battery to operate.Bottom line: I am very pleased with this purchase and will be ordering more.

Everything from a lighting perspective works as expected. Each remote will work on either light ring. NIce amount of colors to choose from. Probably would give higher rating, but after just 1 use, one of the battery cases is already broken (see photos). I am unsure what broke it. It was working when we set them up for play and then broken when we picked them up to put it away. I suppose the force of the cornhole bags may have done it, but it's a really thin piece of plastic that we're asking to hold the battery on. For now, I'm using electrical tape to hold it together, which works, but may seek replacement.

The media could not be loaded.  Great set of lights! One thing I added under my boards were the stick on cell phone wallet to hold the remote for each board. I also like that you can make them fade, flash, and strobe. The video attached was before I secured all the wires.

I like the product, I did not like how it was shipped to me the box was open meaning not sealed, not in another box, whereas anyone can could open it, take things out of it or just plain lose parts out of it. What would it hurt to put a security seal on it.

First off, I love these lights. The reason for 3 stars is because the description states that they take AAA batteries. Under the q&a, it states that they take AA batteries. After inserting the AA batteries, we couldn’t get them to work. Finally figured out that they take 9volt batteries and they finally work. The battery packs are very flimsy and the battery is very loose inside. We put a piece of scotch tape over the battery to secure it and they now work great.

I love the different ways you can change the lights. Ex. Flashing or fade etc.

The product seems to be a very good product. I will know more when I get them installed and get feedback from my. customer. Buyers should beware; These are not wireless remotes nor are they advertised to be. The remote must be stored w/ the board or removed w/ each color change. I was aware of this but others may not be. Great product and if you hook it to 12 or 24 v the brightness is amazing

Not all the color shades worked as well one of the two remotes did not function at all even with changing the battery.
