Foot Stool - Faux Alligator

Perfect for my dog and I. My dog is a Corgi mix, with short legs, she needs a step stool to get up on the couch safely. Most of the steps made for dogs are not long and wide enough for a breed with short legs but a long spine. This size is perfect for her, and the texturing on the vinyl keeps her feet from sliding. It's also a perfect height for my feet to relax on when I'm seated om the couch. A small problem: Though sturdy enough to support my dog jumping on it, after 15 months of use, one of the metal legs broke off. I am replacing all the legs with a set of 4 inch, screw in, furniture leg replacements sold on amazon, so no great loss. I bought a second one of these footrests for in front of the love seat, and am glad to have them both. They look nice and are so useful.

I was surprised by the poor quality of the this faux alligator foot stool. The cover is sloppily glued on the bottom corners with staples here and there holding it in place.However, that area is not visible when in use. The major flaw in this step stool is that the cover was stretched so tightly on the edges that the finish is very obviously marred on the edges. I will probably take a permanent magic marker to try to disguise the visible flaws.There is a warning label on the bottom stating that this foot stool is not for sitting or standing. I am using this as a step stool for my little dog who can not jump very high and it works for that.

Fantastic! I am super picky about interior furnishings. I do not like clutter and I certainly don't like cheap. This footstool passes the test with flying colors. I bought it because my knee was hurting (former meniscus surgery) and it is not good to extend the leg to the height of the coffee table because it hyperextends the knee - which is a BAD thing. So I decided that IF I had a footstool between the sofa and the coffee table that I could rest that leg on, at a lower height, it would help avoid hyperextending that leg/knee - and I WAS RIGHT! It worked. My knee is healed by the stool is still with me because I do NOT want to hyperextend it again. My sofa is dark brown leather, and there is a Persian Rug beneath the setting, so the stool blends in, and if I want to move it out of the way for company, I just lift the coffee table and hide it under the coffee table. I like the look of it - the comfort, and the height. WINNER DEAL!

Just what I was looking for. It's worth the price, sturdy, looks good, standard size, and is practical. The legs screw on. It's reasonably well built and will serve the purpose I bought it for -- for my small dogs and cat to get up and down from the sofa without injuring their old joints. I'm glad it's not made of leather -- I don't see the need to kill animals to cover the surface of furniture.

I have a version of the hinged, wood, storage, footstool with fabric on top and this stool. This stool is much sturdier, it doesn't wobble or tip as easily. When I have slippers on my feet, they slide across the "leather" surface rather than pull and wear the material. The small footprint of this stool is nice for a tight space. We bought a new coffee table and my feet no longer reach the table. While the Mr. stretches out on the sectional this footstool makes the spot right next to him just as luxurious!

The product looks great and is the perfect size! However, the legs will not screw in properly. Three of the legs screw in loosely (will NOT tighten sufficiently), and remains very very loose/wobbly at best. The 4th leg does not screw in at all, and just turns around and around. Apparently the threading on the leg is bad. To be sure, I tried moving the legs around the stool in different positions--with the same bad results. I wish it would work, because it is otherwise PERFECT. But bad legs = a bad stool! Sadly, I am returning the stool. I still love Amazon though!!

I bought this stool for just a little lift of my feet when sitting on my couch. It`s perfect just for that. You just have to screw the legs on and you're done. The faux leather doesn't look bad at all. It did smell pretty bad Nothing that a few days of airing out in my garage didn't fix. Overall, this is a very pretty and functional piece. I would recommend this item to a friend.

My father needed a small foot stool to slightly elevate his legs and this item was perfect. Looks very nice and a good deal at $40. It's small though so make sure it's the size you need,
