Great Product!
My six year old English Mastiff, Dozer, was diagnosed with bone cancer at the beginning of this year, 2015. We were given the grim news that he would only have two months to live and that the cancer would rapidly metastasize to his lungs and other parts of his body. We were beside ourselves to hear this news. After many tears shed and then regrouping I decided that I was going to be proactive in his health and wellbeing as he and we endured his cancer. I cook him all organic chicken soup with brown rice, broccoli, kale, celery, parsley and carrots. Feed him baked yams and apples for treats and shower him with many hugs and kisses throughout each day. We go for a short walk in the park daily and he gets plenty of massages too.Along with vet medications, consisting of Rimadyl, Curcumax, and Gabapentin Dozer takes a handful of holistic meds and Essiac for Pets is one of them. I researched the development and benefits of Essiac and it was a no-brainer to add it to Dozer's daily diet.I started Dozer on half the dosage of Essiac for Pets to see if he would be able to tolerate it well and he did just fine on the half dose with no stomach upset or other side effects. After two days of half dosage I started him on full dosage and have been giving him it since. The Essiac for Pets comes in capsule form and Dozer has no problem swallowing it. Dozer seems to thrive with the added immune system support that he gets from Essiac for Pets. I am extremely happy that it is an all-natural supplement that is acutely beneficial to his good health. We also give his Tru-Pine for Pets. I wholeheartedly believe that the combination of everything I am doing for Dozer is keeping him healthy, happy and without pain and Essiac and Tru-Pine are truly helping. It is now almost the end of August and Dozer is still with us active and happy.

My 6 year old dog was diagnosed with a mast ...
My 6 year old dog was diagnosed with a mast cell tumor last October. The vet's were able to successfully remove it, but warned it could return. I started him on Essiac right after diagnosis. I also regularly give him probiotics and blue-green algae mixed in his food with healthy treats on occasion such as carrots or wheat grass. It's been 7 months so far and his tumor has not come back nor have any more grown. I credit Essiac, his vets and healthy diet with keeping him healthy. He just had his 7th birthday. Thank you for a high quality product.p.s. I will try to come back at a later date to update again. Update: he's still healthy and happy Dec 2017

jury still out
My dog was in bad shape from bladder cancer. Last October, I took her off vet meds and onto Essaic. For 3 months she did fantastic, and I'm so grateful. A week ago, I noticed some blood in her urine., and she would not take Essaic or even much food. I put her on antibiotic for 3 days, but she had reaction to it. I gave her fluids 2 days, and now she is lots better. I have her on CBD oil now. I may try the Essaic again before long...but I'm convinced it is Essaic that gave her the 3 healthy happy months.....' I will update this later..........&&&&&&&&It is several months later now. Peggy Sue is taking Essaic again. She is eating well and has some joy.,and taking short walks with me..still has too often urination, but I credit her well-being to Essaic, CBD oil, good food and my love and care

Dog is still alive!!!
My dog has lived now a month longer than the vets thought he would with his lymphoma. I will come back in another month and report his progress. I am going a "combination" protocol though of a multi-B vitamin plus B-15 & B 17 along with Budwig's cancer protocal of flaxseed oil mixed with cottage cheese. We could not afford chemotherapy but he is on prednisone. He is doing well and I believe this product is helping him and his quality of life. I can't say the tumors (his lymph nodes) have disappeared but he seems to feel just fine still.

Could not get it into my cats
I could not get my cats to eat anything this was added to. I tried a feeding syringe but I was unable to find one that allowed the particles through as the syringe always got stuck. It seems like a good enough product IF you can get your pet to take it. The capsules are far too large for a cat to swallow.

Not-Evidence Based
With my dog suffering from cancer of the spleen, this stuff was recommended to me. Normally, I do not give any credence to alternative medicines, but our vet had given the thumbs-up for us to use yunnan baiyao and turkey tail (positive info re yunnan baiyao, and "no harm, no foul" re turkey tail). Two different vets had never heard of Essiac, and my research online indicated only questionable anecdotal evidence, but I decided against my better judgment to try it, as I hoped it might buy our dog some time. Alas, after three days on the stuff, he developed a severe case of diarrhea, which is a known side-effect at least of certain ingredients in this product. This was especially difficult as my dog had a lot of trouble getting up and moving around, so the distress of diarrhea was compounded by this. Consult your vet and check reviews that focus on evidence-based research, not alternative medicine promoters who prey on people who are emotionally desperate.

It's not hurting, kseems to help.
IThe natural ingredients are a definite plus. It seems to be well tolerated by my dog, and she seems to be more energetic after taking it. Not sure if it slows the progress of her fatty tumors, and it's nowhere near the miracle that some of the over-the-top reviews claim, but the general experience has been positive.

I credit this product for my dog still being alive ...
I credit this product for my dog still being alive. She has been diagnosed as having terminal bone cancer in her leg. She is a Basset Hound so amputation is not a viable option. I read about this product on www.NaviTheDog.com She too developed cancer and has lived for over 2 years more than the Vet predicted with the help of this product. For myself, I can only say my dog is still alive and more active once I started giving her this product.
