MUGU to you!
My old Norelco was finally giving up the ghost after about 30 years. So, no complaints there. It lived a good life. But, I didn't want to drop the $150+ on a decent new one. The teensy collection of the normal players at the big box stores didn't fill the bill, so I started to look for alternatives.I found several possible alternatives on Amazon, and, after reading the descriptions and reviews of several models, I decided to give the MUGU a try. For about $40, why not? I've used the MUGU shaver for about 2 weeks. The shaver arrived with a protective clear plastic cap over the shaver heads. A charging cable (sorry, no charger is included) and a cleaning brush and manual are in the box.I'm impressed with the MUGU's look; it's very sleek and sexy. I found a spare USB wall charger and plugged the shaver in to charge it. The maximum charge time is 60 minutes, and the remaining charge time is displayed on a blue fluorescent display each time that the shaver is powered on or off. The shaver is relatively quiet; much quieter than my old Norelco. And, it shaves closer, too. The Norelco's blades were probably worn out years ago, and I had never changed them, so it was to be expected that it had become troublesome to achieve a close shave with the Norelco. The MUGU does much, much better in that regard. The floating shaver heads seem to work just fine and do not irritate my face in the least. As with the old Norelco, the popup trimmer is an appreciated feature. It seems to be as sturdily attached as was the Norelco. I've popped the shaver head cover open a couple of times to brush out the collection area, and I didn't see any particular area of weakness that would cause problems when done with a reasonable amount of care.I don't know if the MUGU will come anywhere close to lasting as long as the old Norelco, but if I can get even a few years out of it, it'll be well worth the price.

Stopped working after two months
Razor provided good clean shave. Very quiet. Battery doesn't last 60 minutes needs recharging after about 10 minutes use. Razor won't turn on after two months use. Fully charged battery but no reaction when trying to turn on switch. Ju

Good Razor
I gave this as a gift to a man on his birthday. He tried it even before charging the battery, just took it from the box and began to shave. So this is second hand knowledge, but he said it gave him a very close shave that his current razor does not. Also it's really easy to clean with that pop up head that can be rinsed out under the faucet and doesn't need tools. In my experience, men tend to lose those little brushes or any little tools like that that aren't required to fix something, and they aren't all that reliable about cleaning anything in the bathroom, so rinsing out the shaver is something they CAN do. Also keep an eye out for a razor like this that has easily replaceable heads, so you can have one on hand when the sharp blades eventually dull. That will be my next purchase. I will buy this razor again--it is very reasonably priced, but not a cheap piece of junk--and give them as gifts for Christmas.

Great shave horrible battery.
Update to review battery does not last and difficult to recharge.Shaves excellent, off/on switch is somewhat awkward and turns off while shaving. So far battery life is only drawback as I only got three shaves on intial charge.Update battery life is improving.

Excellent shaver
I used the shaver for only one time and already fell in love with it. The cost is reasonable. It ran smoothly and quietly and did a perfect work. I had many other famous brands, Phillips, Panasonic, Braun, none of them can match the the price. Don't get me wrong, they did the same work but with a much much higher price. My Phillips(1250X)shaver head replacement cost me $49!!! and you need to replace the head every 6-9 months!!!! Shame on you Phillips. This shaver is solid and in good quality, especially there is a display showing critical shaver information. Not cheap look at all. If you use the same level shaver but in those famous brands, it at lease costs you $200-300 bucks.

Great Shaver
You can't get a better deal for a shaver of this quality. It's more compact than my remington and norelco I've owned in the past but it does a great job. The battery last for about 5 or 6 shaves and it cleans easy. The remington shaver only lasted a couple of shaves but the blades never needed sharpening during three years that I had it. Had a norelco before that and the charge lasted around 6 shaves. The norelco needed the blades sharpened about twice a year or had to buy a whole new head for it. I'll need to use this one more to find out how long it will last. So far it shaves great.
