Perfection
After 23 years of pin straight hair and no curling iron to help me, for the first time in my life I was able to curl my hair and have it HOLD for 24 hours. I have crazy thick and long hair. It worked so well, I almost cried I was so excited. I have tried every curling product on the market, and this is the ONLY one that has worked for me. Seriously, if you have a hard time curling your hair, take it from someone who has never been able to curl their hair in 23 years. Don't look any further. Buy it. Now.

GIVE IT A TRY!!!!!!!!
Love this curling iron! I have long hair (mostly straight) with thinner strands (but a LOT of them). Curling my hair has been frustrating because A: I have so much hair, B: my hair does not curl that easily and C: I am just not very good at curling it. I was nervous about this because it honestly seemed a little too good to be true. IT'S NOT. It is so easy and very rarely have I figured out how to curl my with a new device on the first try. You definitely have to get used to the amount of hair you are allowed to use each time but it does not take long to figure out. You also have to get used to the different grip from curling the right side to left (because you have to hold it differently since the same side of the device always has to be the side touching your head) but once again, it came easy to me and these things rarely do. I love the curls. I love the setting options. The nice thing is, the curls might look looser the following day and if you like that, then leave them but if you want to "re-curl" your hair you can do that, OR you can touch up a few pieces. For anyone who hasn't been able to master curls, this is the item for you!

Looks Weird, but Works Great!
Love, love, love this! Let me describe my hair: below shoulder length, fine, but naturally curly and frizzy. My hair is colored and chemically straightened (at least the bottom half). I have been straightening my hair for years (what used to be called Japanese straightening), so it's straightened all except about the top 6 inches or so, but it does tend to wear off a bit after awhile - this is just so you know my particular challenges as I was looking for something to style my hair in a manner that would stay and not turn frizzy.I recently purchased two different sets of hot hair curlers, two flat irons, and a new curling iron - I kept one set of the curlers and the curling iron - the rest were returned. These were all expensive, high-end products. I'm sure they work for other people, just not for my hair.I finally decided to give the Miraqueen a try. It looked just too weird for me at first, but after looking at several YouTube videos, I decided I would turn my efforts toward giving it a chance. I tried it for the first time, and it worked like a champ. I washed and blow dried my hair. I use a product for heat protection on my hair, but no other styling products. FYI - I use Wen for cleaning my hair - don't really think that makes a difference overall, but it does hold the color in my hair.I used the lowest heat setting and the 8 second setting, and I had to work at it a bit to pull some of the curl out of my hair when I got it all done. I got my hair stuck in the machine twice, but that was because I tried to put too wide of a hair section into the chamber. It didn't harm the hair or anything - just had to start those sections over again. The first time I used it, it probably took me 30 minutes to do my hair, but that was because of the learning curve. As you work with the device and get the hang of it, it takes much less time.Highly recommend this product! Depending on your hair type and thickness, you won't need anything else but a hair dryer and perhaps a flat iron to smooth your hair down first if it's really thick or coarse. Hopefully this thing lasts a long time - I'll update again as time goes on.

Stay away from it...
I regret this purchase very strongly.I bought it as a christmas gift for my sister. She got her hair stock in it, and we had to cut it... So she asked me if I could get it back to Amazon, but it was too late. So I GOT stock with it lol...I don't want to throw it away because it was a $80 purchase, but I don't want to keep it because it reminds me how bad I regret this purchase everytime I see it. Nobody uses it... Too dangerous for our hair lol...I tried to give it to other people, they didn't want it... I will try to sell it on Ebay on a Huge discount I guess... It is literally collecting dust and it drives me up the wall... I really don't want to give it to one of my friend, because I would feel bad if they damage their hair with it... Which will probably be the case...
