As other reviews have proved it is definitely not 6Ah. It's definitely 4Ah as it lasted exactly as long as the Ryobi OEM 4Ah battery. I am okay with that. For the money I spent it's still better than spending way over 100 bucks for an OEM replacement . I just wish Amazon and the vendors were on the same page for truth in advertising. So you get what you pay for. The battery works very well and it's an excellent back up to have on hand. It fits the 40v trimmer perfectly and charges fast.

I cannot rate based on longevity or battery life as I just purchased this in summer of 2020. I used this to replace the OEM battery on a Ryobi 20" push mower. The original batteries must have lasted for at least 5 years. I noticed when cutting grass which was more thick, that the motor would just stop. I concluded that the old batteries couldn't take the load any more. I replaced the OEM battery with this battery and, WOW, power restored! The only thing I noticed is that it seems to take much longer to recharge. Of course I have to think back about 5 years in time. I thought I remember the originals only taking about 35-40 minutes to charge. This battery takes more than an hour using the Ryobi charger this manufacturer stated could be used. In any case, I love having the restored power and an affordable battery. I just will not buy a battery that cost as much as the mower with a battery. That is a scam. I hope these batteries have the life of at least 5 years.

Bought this battery in May 2021 to replace Ryobi battery for my lawnmower. The original battery stopped changing after about 4 years. This battery just died on me today. Says it’s fully charged but only lasts 10 minutes.I will say that after about 3 years of use for the mower, weed eater, and blower, it did its job well for $50 bucks. No issues, worked as well as my Ryobi batteries. I will say that I don’t think it’s 6A. I timed it and it lasted as long as my Ryobi 4A under the same conditions. Still no complaints for the price. It doesn’t last as long as Ryobi, but it’s half price or more. I will buy another one and hope it works as well.

I have purchased several types and sizes of (after market) replacement batteries and this is a good one! Has great power and it fits well in all my tools. Also has great run time on my weed eater and blower. I’ve had issues in the past with the fit on some of the tools, but not with this one.

It worked great initially, but at some point it just stopped charging. We have a Ryobi brand battery that came with our lawn mower and that still charges fine. So we know it's not the charger that is the issue.With great difficulty (since it is not a US company and has no direct contact info anywhere), I managed to contact the seller through Amazon's business portal. I explained that my battery had failed and was within warranty. The company responded that because the warranty was almost over (I was like 10 or 11 months into it), they couldn't replace the battery. But if I wanted to ship it to them IN CHINA then they would repair it and send it back to me. Now I have no idea how much it costs to ship a heavy battery like this to China, but I'm willing to bet that it isn't cheap and the seller made no offer to pay for the shipping costs.Newsflash to you, shady company, that's not how warranty's work. It's not a pro-rated thing where you give less and less compensation as the product nears the end of its warranty.They did not honor their warranty, which I consider to be fraud. Their product failed within one year, which I consider to be poor quality control and/or workmanship. They didn't make it right, which I consider to be exceptionally poor customer service.I would give them zero stars if I could. I would steer clear of this company. They do not have your interests at heart.

By using a few of these lithium batteries for lawnmowing, the battery lasts two years. Always let the battery cool down to room temperature after the charge runs too low and the mower shuts off. This is easy to do when you have three or more of these batteries to alternate with between recharging. For best results, the batteries are run all the way down and charged all the way up after cool-down, with alternating batteries.

Unlike Ryobi battery it works without me having to reset the battery, in my mind that makes it far better than a Ryobi. Too soon to say anything about battery life or longevity but so far OK.

Purchased three of these in the period from Dec. 2021. Only one, bought Apr. 2022, has exhibited a reduction in battery life. Other two, bought Dec. 2021 and June 2022, still show ability to charge full strength. These are regularly used on a 40V mower, blower and string trimmer approx. every 2-3 weeks throughout the entire year as being used in South Florida. Very happy with the longevity of these as related to the low price when considering a comparison to the price of a Ryobi brand battery.

I bought this thinking it would be a cheaper alternative. Cheaper is right. It does not hold a charge. I charged it once and then it died. I only had it for 36 days. I would like a refund!!

Battery arrived in time but did not work. Company has not resolved the issue.
