Country Brook Petz - Teal Martingale Heavyduty Nylon Dog Collar and Double Handle Leash (3/4 Inch, Small)

I have an 8 month old Border Collie puppy I am taking through obedience classes. This collar/leash set is exactly what I need. The color (teal) is beautiful with her red and white coat. Workmanship is awesome. Lizzie is a very high-energy puppy... Leash has the second handle near collar which gives me extra control along with the martingale-style collar. Lizzie will be a medium-sized dog (about 45 lbs.) but correct collar size is listed as small. I purchased a medium size from this vendor earlier but she will never fit into it - it is too large at smallest adjustment. Note to self: MEASURE neck before ordering. Small will fit her now and later. Yay!

We bought this set 4 months ago for our new rescue dog. Immediately I loved it because of the quality and color. However after walking our 55lb lab/pit mix a few times, I started getting blisters on my hands. The leash is way too thick for a strong puller. We sent our girl to a 3 week board and train and she stopped pulling. We now use a training collar and I don’t have a problem with blisters anymore. However in the last 3 months, her leash has disconnected from her collar about 4 times. I thought I was just putting it on halfway or something. I realized this morning that if her collar d ring hits at just the right spot and gets pulled, it slips though the leash attachment. This is horrible! I just ordered a new leash.

So far so good! I purchased the large martingale collar for my dog (67lb, 9yo shepherd mix). It fits just right and the quality is great. Seems like it will hold up well to pulling (my guy doesn't really pull, but it looks sturdy enough for a puller).The color of the set is very vibrant (I got the lime green and I've also seen a Great Dane at work with the hot pink, and her set is very vibrant as well). I wasn't too thrilled about the 6ft leash (I prefer 4ft) but it has a handle towards the collar end for traffic control, so that definitely made up for it!Shipping was faster than I expected, but I also live in the same state the company is based out of. I definitely recommend this product!

Received this collar and Leash set in burgundy yesterday very quick turnaround time with order. very happy with that. Seems to be a well-made leash and collar. perfect Martindale collar for a dog with a small head and large neck with some aggression issues. We did the swim test today takes a little bit to dry but no color bleed off which is a big plus. I will forewarn that if you're looking for burgundy this collar is more of a magenta. I was very against a pinkish/girlie color for my female German Shorthair, I thought the burgundy would look very pretty on her dark coloring but the magenta is very nice on her also and not really worth sending back since it still seems to be a very well made collar.

Excellent and sturdy collars and leashes. I've owned all the different types of collars and leashes that Country Brook Design offers. I love their products. They are thick, sturdy, and quality with a reasonable price. They will last you a few years depending on how hard your pet is on things. I replace mine every year because I wash them every two weeks and I like my stuff to always look new. My Malinois Shepherds are wearing the Teal and Burgundy colors in the Medium size and 1 inch width. My family member's Doberman mix is wearing the Mango color in the Medium size and 1 inch width which i gifted to them.

I ordered 2 leashes, one for my 65# collie and a second for my 30# collie mix. I've used the 2 handled military style leash for years and love them. I was somewhat concerned that I wouldn't be able to reach the handle on my small girl, as that loop is so much closer to the hook attaching to the collar than previous leashes I've purchased, but it works just fine. This dog measures just over 21" at the shoulder, standing. My only regret is that I can't find a 2 handled leash in 5/8", as the 1" just feel too wide for my hands and not as comfortable as a narrower leash would be. Other than that, this is a wonderful product. I did get a martingale collar as well, very well made, very happy with this purchase.

Loved the color teal I purchased, it's so beautiful. The collar is easy to adjust the sizing and it's very smooth and doesn't cause irritation on my dogs neck. Also I love the leash as it has a 2nd handle near the base and helps with controlling my 110 pound dog. (Just as an FYI, I do not put the leash on his collar as I have a harness that I use and connect the leash to his harness to help with walking and pulling.) Overall, the leash and collar is a nice quality and I would recommend this product.

This collar replaced the one our dog out grew. Perfect for dogs with a thick neck or dogs who pull/slip from loose collars. We don’t need a “choker” but this could be a better alternative with no hair pulling or pinching skin. Great combo if you don’t always use a leash or if your dog isn’t the best on one. The lower loop on leash is great when you want him close, and the collar loosens instantly. Plenty of colors to choose from too.
