ASURION 4 Year Laptop Protection Plan ($250 - $299.99)

I purchased this protection because it offered peace of mind in the event my son’s laptop ever got broken or had any issues. 9 times out of 10 you never end up using the protection plans but I’m so glad I did! We had the laptop for about a year and my son used it every day, mostly for watching YouTube or playing Roblox. One evening while he was playing Roblox, the computer completely died. Black screen, no response with charging or anything, it was toast. My son was devastated, but then I remembered I had gotten a protection plan and decided to give it a go. It was easy to do and they sent me a box to ship the laptop back to them. I received email updates each step of the way, and in about 2 weeks (or less) we received a new (or refurbished, not sure) laptop, exact brand, type, everything. I was extremely impressed. I thought for sure Asurion might try to say the laptop was abused and deny a fix or replacement. But they kept their word and I didn’t have to worry about purchasing a new laptop in time for school. I am thoroughly impressed with the ease, the quick turnaround, and the outcome! It was worth every penny spent and then some!

When I bought my refurbished device, I purchase a 4-year complete warrantee by Asurion from Amazon. I am very glad I did. My refurbished device came with a defective keyboard. As soon as I contacted Asurion, they acted immediately. They sent me a shipping box. I shipped them, the defective device. They repaired it and returned it to me in less than a week. They honored my warrantee, and it was all at no charge to me. It could not have gone better.

Have used the warranty on multiple occasions now. It’s always hassle-free and customer service is great!

The only products I consider buying a contract are computers. 2.5 years into ownership, one of our Asus computers was dropped and stopped working. I contacted Asurion, they sent a box and label (rec'd in two days). Packed the computer, dropped at UPS store. They acknowledged receipt 2 days later and a day after they looked at the damaged product, they sent a full refund (cost of the computer) via a gift card on Amazon. A day later, I reordered a new computer. The pricing, policies and processes at Asurion are top tier. Excellent value for the money.
