Bought for a JRT for upcoming canoe trip. He's 9kg, 51cm chest, 30cm neck, 38cm body, a short legged, long and stocky dog. We bought the small size and it fits well around his neck and under his chest but could do with being a CM or 2 longer in the body length but for the price it's great value and we know he's an unusual size. A medium would have swomped him. Tryed it in a local lake, see pictures and video, and it worked well. Allowed him to swim naturally but adds enough buoyancy to assist if needed. While he could always swim it adds peice of mind that if we capsize or he jumps out he's not going to drown through exhaustion. It has a strong wide Velcro fastening under his body with 2 adjustable clips to secure it. There is also a Velcro strap round his neck which is backed up with an adjustable clip too. Jacket has handle on top to lift him out water and a ring to clip a lead/line to reel him in. It's bright and reflective so we'll never loose him either.

Fabulous product. I bought the medium for my pug and it was perfect. It fit comfortably on him and he seemed very happy in it. It got tested out when he fell off our canal boat and it held him afloat perfectly and he was able to swim towards the bank where I was able to pull him out with the handle at the top. I don't know how I'd have fished him out without the handle! A brilliant product and certainly made us all at ease with having him on the boat, knowing he was safe even if he fell in. Totally recommend.

Excellent product for the price. I've not tested longevity yet but it seems robust. I've examined it and stitching looks good. They include an extra bit of velcro to put over the exposed velcro at the chest strap, which is thoughtful. There's velcro AND straps, so double security and the fit is good and easy to do.It is a little bulky on the neck/chest for a staffy as she hasn't got much of a neck, so I thought she'd be a bit nervous of having it on. Once she realised what it does though there was no stopping her!!! She loves it. She did need hauling out at one point and the handle was very useful. I definitely feel confident letting her come in a boat with us now. Generally she just sinks like a hippogriff in deep water - staff types are not swimmers!Definitely a great product. Dried fast in the sunshine too.

Well it saved my puppy's life so how could I give it less than 5 stars? She fell in a lake when I was fishing and she couldn't get out. The jacket kept her afloat and I had attached a long line to the lead ring on the jacket so was able to reel her in and use the handle to pull her out.

Really fabulous product, and excellent value. We are thrilled with it and would definitely recommend.We purchased this quickly while on a narrow boat cruise to replace an old one purchased in the US over ten years ago. The old one had foot holes that were often challenging to get dogs' paws through and only a zipper up the back to secure. While the old one worked well at first, the zipper would not stay closed. On the first night of this cruise the zipper completely fell apart and the life jacket was useless. I ordered this replacement, and had it delivered to a friend who met us with it the next day at one of the pubs on our canal! How awesome is that?!The size small is perfect for our Parsons Jack Russell, and we honestly feel she liked wearing it aboard the boat. Since she is already a bit of a nervous dog, it 'hugged' her like a Thunder Jacket and she seemed to relax in it! She could still play ball and move easily with its design. The Velcro and clasps really give extra confidence in its security if it were ever actually immersed in the canal. But, thank goodness that didn't happen. Nonetheless, I could relax and enjoy my holiday knowing that she would be safe if she happened to fall or jump into the canal.

I've not yet tried these in the water so this review is based on looks and fit only.I have two small Chihuahua's so struggled to find something small enough to fit them, as these are fairly inexpensive compared to others I've seen I thought I would try them. They are a good fit round the chest, and the depth is good, however if you have a very small dog, they may be too long in length. I've debating returning them, as think I'm going to have to adjust both of mine somehow, as the belly flap that wraps underneath covers too much area on my boy dogs. If you have girls, I imagine they will be ok. I also think that I won't be able to use the rear strap because of where it sits, so they will only be fixed on by the first belly strap, therefore I don't think I would 100% trust them to stay in place, but for beach use, and light supervised swimming I think they will be ok.The quality seems to be ok. There is some fraying on the straps on both the ones I received, but otherwise they look ok.

I've given the life jacket 3 stars. Because having a bulldog you need a large jacket. But they have short legs almost impossible to fit it. Have resorted to turning her upside down. Which she thinks is great fun. But this manoeuvre is impossible on the beach. I have to put it on at home. But then walking her on the beach without her harness. She gets very excited on the beach. Is very difficult. You need a lot of upper body strength ( I'm a grandmother). Also it gets a bit warm for her before she hits the water. Plus side very pretty. She floats. Delivery all good. She does not float without it. So will continue to use as she loves the water. They have been very kind with their response to these issues so will raise my rating

Delighted with this life jacket - don't look past this product, as I am sure none will compare in quality or value. Sizing is perfect and our two little dogs were obviously quite comfortable wearing them, running about the house before we even got near the boat!! Nice and secure fit, with a sturdy handle and upon lifting both our dogs by the handle, this held the dogs steady and caused no discomfort, even to our long bodied Lhasa!

Notre louloute n'est pas très à l'aise dans l'eau et a du mal à rester à la surface quand elle nage.Le gilet l'a totalement mise en confiance ce qui lui a permis de nous accompagné dans l'eau pendant les vacances sans se fatiguée ni paniquer, ce qui nous rassure.Les réglage son facile et les tailles données bonnes (notre chienne n'est pas facile a "habiller" niveau collier et harnais).Le gilet n'entrave pas le chien pour courir quand il est hors de l'eau et n'est pas lourd.

Tres pratique est très "secur" pour les chiens, faisant du canoë avec mon chien, je prefere l'assurer un peu au cas ou il ce jette dans l'eau a la vue d'une bête ou autre,il nage bien plus longtemps avec, tout en ce fatiguant moins!Produit de très bonne qualité, finition largement correcte,livraison rapide!Je recommande ce produit!

Abbiamo provato il giubbotto di salvataggio in vasca efettivamente il cane galleggia ed è ben protetto, il colore è giallo rispecchia il colore proposto, la taglia presa è la S giusta per il bulldog francese quando è abbastanza snello, prendere una M sarebbe più adeguato per altri BF.

Da die erste Weste leider meinem Hund nicht optimal gepasst hat, habe ich den Verkäufer kontaktiert und ein Foto beigelegt, um zu erfahren ob das so passt, wollte sie nicht gleich zurück schicken.Der Verkäufer war so freundlich und hat mich toll beraten, sie haben mir ein anderes Modell der Weste zugeschickt, welches etwas sportlicher geschnitten war und die hat meinem Pinscher sofort gepasst.Konnte sie noch nicht im Wasser testen, aber beide Varianten machen einen sehr guten, gut verarbeiteten und robusten Eindruck.Das Service ist wirklich einmalig! Nur zu empfehlen!!

Wir haben die Schwimmweste für unseren 4-Monate-alten Labradorwelpen gekauft, da wir mit dem Hund Bootsurlaub in Italien machen wollten und nicht sicher waren, ob er Anstalten machen würde, in den See zu springen und ob und wie er ohne Hilfe wieder an Bord kommen würde. Da wir die Weste nur für 14 Tage brauchten, wollten wir nicht wirklich viel Geld ausgeben, denn im nächsten Sommer würde die Weste sicher zu klein sein.Mit viel Skepsis entschieden wir uns für die pinke Version in Größe L. Die Weste wurde schnell geliefert, war gut verpackt und schon beim Auspacken war uns klar, dass wir mit dieser Schwimmweste ein nicht nur preiswertes sondern auch ein wirklich gutes Produkt ausgewählt hatten. Die Farben sind super, die Verschlüsse von sehr guter Qualität. Der breite Bauchlatz unter dem Bauch, der mit einem wirklich gut haftenden Klett versehen ist, lässt die Weste so sicher verschließen, dass wir zu keiner Zeit das Gefühl hatten, dass sie möglicherweise rausrutschen könnte. Außerdem konnten wir sie bequem aus dem Wasser zurück ins Boot heben und sogar ein Stückchen tragen, ohne dass es den Hund gestört hätte. Im Wasser hatte die Weste so viel Auftrieb, dass der Hund gar nicht schwimmen musste und trotzdem über Wasser blieb. Auch die Polsterung an der Brust sorgt dafür, dass das Köpfchen über Wasser bleibt. Sie gibt unserem Welpen sehr viel Sicherheit. Fazit: wer eine super chice, bequeme und praktische Schwimmweste für seinen Hund sucht und dazu nicht ein Vermögen ausgeben will, sollte sich diese Weste zulegen. Von uns gibt es eine ganz klare Kaufempfehlung!!!

Super Schwimmweste, passt meinem Am.Staffrüden sehr gut. (33kg)Seine Bewegungsfreiheit ist nicht eingeschränkt. Sitzt wirklich gut und ist an Brust und Bauch verstellbar. Da unser kleiner Bolonka Zwetna keine große Wasserratte war, wir ihm jedoch an heißen Sommertagen dann trotzdem eine Abkühlung verschaffen wollten, haben wir ihm diese Hundeschwimmweste besorgt.Kurze Erklärung: Unser Hund ist nicht gerne ins Wasser gegangen und wenn dann nur bis zu den Krallenspitzen. Als wir ihm dann die Weste angelegt haben und an den Weiher mit ihm gefahren sind ist er ganz langsam mit uns ins Wasser gekommen. Es hat ihn scheinbar beruhigt, dass er nicht so leicht untergehen kann. Mittlerweile gehen wir auch schon ohne Schwimmweste mit ihm ins Wasser. Es gefällt ihm jedes mal mehr.Ich kann jedem Hundebesitzer, dessen Hund Angst vor Wasser hat, nur empfehlen eine Schwimmweste zu kaufen. Damit nimmt man dem Hund die Angst ein klein wenig.

Gilet de sauvetage impeccable, je l’utilise pour la navigation en mer ou parfois pour des baignades, ce gilet est très correct en matière de qualité et coloris, je l’utilise pour un Spitz nain qui pèse environ 5 kg, en taille XS ce gilet lui va très bien je ne regrette pas cet achat, surtout pour ce prix... je recommande 👍🏼

Comprato per la mia maltesina di 2,4 kg taglia XS. Prendendo bene le misure del cane non si può sbagliare taglia. La qualità sembra ottima, robusto e bel materiale. Il velcro è regolabile così da non tirare i peli. Ha una bella maniglia sul dorso e anche un gancio per attaccare il guinzaglio. Avvolge bene il dorso e la pancia in modo tale da non dare problemi al carne quando lo si solleva. Non da assolutamente fastidio al cane e galleggia bene. Provato al mare in spiaggia per nuotatina, ma comprato essenzialmente come precauzione per andare in barca.

Davvero un ottimo prodotto! Super consigliato soprattutto per i bulldog francese che, per costituzione, non sono dei nuotatori. La sicurezza prima di tutto!

La talla S para el tamaño de un yorkshire de 7kg es perfecta. Quizás le queda un poco grande por delante, pero se puede ajustar fácilmente y es mejor que no les apriete. Es cómodo de llevar y en la playa les ayuda a mantenerse a flote. Su agarre superior, te permite cogerlos en caso de emergencia. Se seca rápidamente y los colores son llamativos para tener al perro localizado.

Commandé pour ma bulldog anglaise.Nous avons fait du bodyboard et elle a nagé en pleine mer avec. A servi tout l'été et il est en excellent état ! Je recommande. Ma flottaison est parfaite et elle peut faire les mouvements. Elle adore nager et faire des demis tours, cela ne l'a pas gênée.N'hésitez plus.Recommandé à de nombreuses personnes qui l'ont commandé suite à mes vidéos avec ce super gilet.

Mein Hund ist ein kleiner Angsthase wenn es um schwimmen geht. Also dachte ich das diese Schwimmweste helfen würde. Mein Hund läuft von sich aus eigentlich keinen Schritt mit der Schwimmweste das Sie wirklich fast den kompletten Hund einnimmt (eine andere Größe wurde probiert). Das Anziehen gestaltet sich auch etwas schwieriger, auch das herausfinden wie es für den Hund angenehm ist. Trotz allem hält sie meinen Hund über Wasser. Denke es ist ein Gewohnheitsthema, Hunde die oft ins Wasser gehen ist dies bestimmt eine Erleichterung um nicht direkt erschöpft zu sein.
