SEI Southern Enterprises Corner Computer Desk 48" Wide, Painted Black Finish

Really nice desk. It took me a couple of hours to assemble by myself, but the result is a stable and solid desk with a quality feel--better than expected for the price.Caveat: Even if you're used to IKEA-type furniture assembly, which I am, this one is a bit complex. Instructions consist of tiny pictures. They're accurate, but tricky to follow. I made a couple of missteps. But all parts and hardware were present and all holes accurately drilled. The desktop is quite heavy, especially when you've attached the drawer frame to the underside, so though I was able to put everything together by myself, a second pair of hands would have been a plus.UPDATE AFTER SEVERAL WEEKS' USE: The finish shows no sign of wear despite some bumps from my office chair. My 27" all-in-one computer monitor fits with plenty of room to spare. Still very happy with my purchase.

Easy to put together, solid for the price. I'm a little concerned about how the paint will hold up as I'm already noticing a bit of chipping here and there. It looks fantastic but I'm sure it won't age great. Still would recommend and would buy again if I needed to. I can't really complain for the price.Edit: It's been a year and I had to knock this down to two stars. It's held up marginally well but certainly not as well as I'd hoped. Paint is chipping off and some residue seems to be impossible to remove. I'm not a very dirty or destructive person so I'm a little disappointed. I think I could have gotten something nicer for the same price, or maybe just a little more. Oh well!

I have no problem assembling furniture and know what kind of quality to anticipate from this type of thing, but this desk blew me away with how crappy the quality was. Negative experience from start to finish.- There were no directions included or readily available.- After searching online I found directions that had the pieces and hardware lettered & numbered respectively. The pieces/hardware I received were the opposite, so hardware was lettered and pieces were numbered, which made decoding the directions frustrating.- The quality was even poorer than I anticipated. The first bolt cam I put in punched through the top of the desk.- A crucial piece of the desk was not properly sized like it needed to be to sit flush and assemble. Holes on it were not accurate to the directions.Waste of money!

This desk looks great online, but putting it together was impossible! The hardware would not lock, the holes were misaligned and the instructions were terrible. If I could give this desk less than one star, I would. I am very, very disappointed. Do NOT purchase this desk!

This is the exact kind of desk I was looking for and I found it to be over $70 cheaper than when I found it on Target's website. It is the same exact desk.My complaint is with the instructions. Other reviewers have also said similar things, and I think that while the pictures in the instructions are helpful, more detailed words would have been better. The instructions state that you might need a Phillips screw driver. In my experience, I actually needed a power drill. I have put a lot of furniture together in my life. IKEA is one of my favorite places. This experience was overly complicated.Am I sad I bought this desk? No. I have to give it 4 stars because it is exactly what I was hoping it would be. Just make sure you are ready for the experience you have ahead of you if you choose to purchase it as well.

I had realistic expectations considering the cost of this desk but I was still extremely disappointed. The desk did not even make it through assembly. The incredibly cardboardy “wood” this is made out of can’t even support itself. Nearly every piece screwed in broke / stripped immediately. I ended up just breaking it down and throwing it away. Horrible product, don’t bother.

This is a cute corner desk that is functional and reasonably priced. It took my husband about 30 minutes to assemble and it’s the perfect size for our small apartment. I highly recommend the Southern Enterprise Corner Desk and am very pleased with my purchase.

Desk is of poor quality. As noted by many others, there's an absolute need for glue when assembling this desk. However, the desk (after assembly) is aesthetically pleasing and functions as expected, hence 2 out of 5 stars.

I love this desk. It fits my two 24 inch computer monitors with a docking station for my laptop. It fits all of the files I need with the shelving underneath. This was perfect for me.

This is the third desk we have ordered from this seller. We ordered 2 white ones for a craft room and this one in black to hold a large printer in a home office. All three of them were better than described and they all arrived earlier than scheduled. The packaging was amazing and all of them arrived in perfect condition. If I ever need another desk I will without a doubt order from this seller again!

The desk turned out great. It was easy to assemble with a little patience. We did break a cam screw in the process so we skipped one on the top where it wasn't as necessary. The size of the desk is perfect for the corner we placed it in. I'd give this product 4.5 stars if that were an option.

Nice desk. Not as easy to put together as others had said. I’ve only had the desk almost a year and moved once with it. It scratches very easily and with the desk being black it shows!

Disappointed that Amazon even has this trash listed for sale on its site. Ordered it and almost had it completely set up but it was the flimsiest desk I've ever seen. It can barely hold it self up let alone a monitor or even a laptop. First item I've ever had to return to Amazon. I should have heeded some of the reviews of this product before I ordered it.

Very disappointed in the poor quality and difficulty in assembly. Would not recommend this at all. If it weren't so much trouble to repack the dang thing, I'd send it back.
