How to Find a Fox

Sweetly written and adorably illustrated, this book is a treat for kids and their parents! It's charming, funny, and sincere, and even has a nice little message about not giving up when things get frustrating. The protagonist has such an expressive little face and poses, which are echoed by the animals around her. (I love her hair, too!) Page composition is simple and colorful enough to keep the attention of smaller kids (not too busy) without being gaudy, dull, overly simplistic, or obnoxious; in fact, I love the color palette here. And as a family member pointed out, the quality of the paper is really nice too. It's also a good size to hold and prop open when reading aloud. I've already given it to three families with young kids, and will no doubt keep going!

This book is ADORABLE. The art is beautiful and charming, and the story promotes curiosity, determination, and of course, respect for foxes' busy schedules. It instantly became one of our 3-year-old's favorite bedtime reads - and one of mine, too!

Full disclosure, I know the author personally and don't own children. That being said, I've personally purchased over 10 copies of this book over the past year that I give to all my expecting friends. I might buy a book once to support an author, but you usually don't buy it multiple times.The book is cute, sweet, beautifully drawn and I've given it to children regardless of gender, race, or background. I will say the little girls seem to like it a bit more though!

Cute book! This was the book used for the Story Book Walk at our local park at the beginning of the pandemic. We read it walking through the park every day for many, many months. As things started to finally open, they changed the book. My toddler was thrilled when we bought a copy and she could look at the pictures again.

The book was very cute but arrived damaged. It was all bent up and the cover had rips.

This book, apart from being very cute, teaches your kid to never give up, no matter how difficult a situation may be. In a few pages, there is a bit of struggle but the results are great once you reach the end of the road. Very satisfied.

This was a fantastic read and had a great message. My kids won't let me get anything done unless I read it.I look forward to many more of Nilah's books to preserve my sanity.

The book is a sweet read. The pictures are full of life and expression. My kids enjoy reading this book. I think it could be better as a picture book without words. The narration really took away a little bit of the magic.
