Durability
I have had this rod for 4 years, I use it for trolling for walleye, I use bandits, flicker shads, vibes, and walleye harness. I have caught hundreds of walleyes with this rod and still working well. I have also caught northern pike, catfish, and carp on this rod.

Flexy, light, Crappy durability
These poles have extreme flexibility. And when you get a fish on, I can see these poles being a lot of fun. Unfortunately, these poles wont last very long if you troll with them, or hook into anything over 10 pounds. I was trolling at a lake around here with a 'pink lady' diver, about 70 feet down. The pole broke into two pieces within a couple hours. And my much lighter 'ugly stick', withstood the pink lady divers with ease. These are fun & light, and if they were more durable, this would be a perfect stick because of the flexibility and how light they are.

Spin cast or bait cast....?
Said it was a spin cast rod, but it was bait cast based on Number of eyes and small eye size. Not a spin cast rod. Still a decent rod for the price.

description is wrong
Wrong info - it says 8'6" ML (medium light) rod but was a MH (medium heavy) rod. I cross checked with another site and the model # is for a MH not a ML. the ML is the 7'6" not the 8'6". it would probably cost 1/4 of the purchase price to return due to over sized box. Not the action i wanted.

Nice rod
I am completely satisfied with how the rod performed. The only thing I don't like is the shape of the handle. The old ones were round but this one is more of a triangle and it is more difficult to get out of a rod holder.

Good backbone for bringing in bigger fish
Rated a MH, but the tip is sensitive enough to detect kokanee bites while trolling. Good backbone for bringing in bigger fish.

Eagle claw, for it's price, just can't be beaten. I have used the brand for many years for all sorts of fishing.

substandard product.. used once and broke in two pcs.
Went on a fishing trip and this rod broke when reeling in the first time. It looks good but that is all. I wondered why it was cheap to purchase. Very disappointed in the purchase.
