Purchased two - 100 foot sets of these. Very bright but not "sun etching" if you catch my drift. Comes on a plastic reel which was easy to use. I wish the electrical plug was on the inside as I started installation from the back and worked from the front, but a minor inconvenience. Enclosed picture shows illumination at night. Used to light my boat dock and provide lighting if we get off the lake later in the evening. Dropped them into the water a number of times as I was installing with no ill effect. I installed two into the same timing system so my only advise there is to add a short extension to off-set the plugs as they would not fit together into the timer side-by-side outlets. Again, very minor and only an issue if you are installing multiple units as I did. These have been coming on automatically for about a month now and survived rain and wind - no issues. Attached with wire based on my installation and no damage to the lights. Really like them and would purchase again. Update. One year later...Still going strong. I did have to replace 1 power supply for $10.00 on Amazon as a unit failed after about a year. The lights still look very nice at night and almost invisible during the day. Happy happy happy. We use these camping they are so pretty and are easy to lay out around the camper.

Have not installed them yet as was painting but will be putting up soon and already have this in my barn which is really nice and lots of light for the entire length.

I've had these up in my yard for two years now and the still work. The plastic casing is very weathered now, but they work. Recommend using a different means to hold in place. Clamps suck.

This "light rope" was exactly what we wanted (100' was about 6' too long, but we doubled one section back on it self and no one notices).The only problem I have with it is that we can't buy the power supply by itself. We had a wind gust that blew a lawn ornament right into the power supply and it cracked it. We really don't want to go to all the work of taking down and re-installing the "rope" part when all we need is the power supply.Update - 1 year later - the power supply just died, and I can't find a replacement.

I have a long narrow yard, about 40x15, with a wooden picket fence. This product is long enough to go all the way around my yard and bright enough to see everything without blinding me! comes with little connectors and screws that hold up great, need to have a clue installing, and used a bent nail at the hard corners. time will tell overall quality but i'm satisfied

The lights initially were great I used them as lighting around my pool deck. It looked great. But 1.5 years in and they no longer work, despite being weatherproof. They are plugged into a covered outlet under a covered portion of the patio. Very disappointing.
