was so happy to find this product online! I grew up eating this at the amazing Japanese - American restaurant in my hometown. You could purchase it there, as well as at one grocery store in that town. Now that I live 150 miles away I would have to "stock up" when I went "home" for a visit. Not anymore, now that I found on Amazon at a better price! This is delicious on panko coated chicken or vegetables. will definitely reorder and have told many people they can order from Amazon.

I’m Japanese and this stuff is legit

This is some great stuff. It is the official tonkatsu sauce. Those who don't know what tonkatsu/katsu is, google it. This stuff is also great with Japanese Curry Rice (mix can be purchased at WalMart). Also great with breaded, fried oysters. Locally, this is tough to find. I have to travel an hour to an oriental store to buy this stuff. Amazon makes this convenient and it's also cheaper.

This stuff is just soooo addictive. Bulldog is just like the sauce in many Japanese restaurants. These big 17 ounce bottles go a long way, and the sauce keeps well in the refrigerator. The 5-pack was a good deal, and it is totally worth the postage.

Excellent and as described. 4 stars due to the price. I was able to get it locally for much cheaper. The product is great though and shipped out to me quickly.

I first tasted Bull Dog over 20 years ago, at a Japanese restaurant in Northern NH....I tried it on Kushi-Katu (a chicken appetizer) and on my fried rice. Wasn't all that crazy about it in the beginning, but that soon changed. It's wonderful as a marinade on chicken, beef or pork. I've also used some in my meatloaf, and I'll bet it'd be quite tasty on grilled burgers.Love the opportunity to buy this in quantity. The only place we can find it is up in northern NH & it's a long ride for Bull Dog. Makes our lives much better to be able to buy this through Amazon, that's for sure!If you haven't tried it, go for it! Enjoy!
