It's just two pieces of thin plastic. One slightly thicker and lined with what im guessing is a "shock absorbing" liner. There is absolutely no back at all just a frame. I dropped my phone about a foot on carpet and the sound it made was horrible, if I had done this a few feet over on the concrete or in the other room on the tile it would have definitely shattered my screen. There is no "protection" whatsoever for the phone with this case. The only pluses this case has is that it is very pretty and does keep your phone nice and slim.

Does not stay on. Finally just threw it away.
