Once in awhile one needs a larger bag. These come in handy when that happens. Love having them on hand.

Used these to travel for two weeks in Europe with just a carry-on suitcase. I packed two pairs of pants and two skirts in one bag, five shirts in another, put shoes in a third, and the extra things in a fourth one. I brought an extra one for dirty clothes. I squeezed out the air from each, and nothing got wrinkled. I had plenty of room, and was able to keep everything in place.I can't recommend this way of traveling enough -- this is truly the way to go, even if you have a larger suitcase! The bags were great -- no rips or tears, and the zippers held firm.I'm sure there are myriad ways you can use these around the house -- they aren't just for food

These are great bags for storing anything. I live near the ocean and we have humidity like crazy. I am nuts or so I am told but I don't like canisters sitting out on the counter like some folks. So I put my opened bags of flour, sugar etc in these bags and put on my pantry shelf. It just works for me and these bags make it convenient and no humidity. Good to put pieces of clothing, paper goods, anything you can think of that is too big for a gallon size. I put some of my important papers in these and then put them in a safe place. Never know when a hurricane might come breezing through.............

Loved the bigger size. Somewhat expensive, but I don't use them very often.

These bags were the answer to storing 12x12 scrapbook paper. I can put 25 sheets of cardstock in one bag with no problem--more will fit but a little harder to get through the zip area. My only complaint is the price--there are definitely cheaper bags out there, some I would have to order 100's to get the better price, but also a competitor offers a slightly larger bag for almost 1/2 what these cost with shipping.

I make freezer meals but I go one step further. I put my main meal in a gallon zip loc bag and anything else that will go w/ the meal goes into quart bags. I put all the bags along with the recipe and final directions into the 2 Gallon bag and freeze. If my protein needs cheese, i even put an entire bag of shredded cheese in as well. I hate when I buy groceries and go to make my dish 3 days later and some of the ingredients has already been ate. This way, it is all done in advance!

Our camera club gives these out as part of a welcome package to new members. The two-gallon bags are great for protecting gear when rain comes, for storing gadgets to keep dust and grit out, and for packing gear, paper, cleaning supplies when traveling.I can fit a 60D and 70 - 200 mm lens easily in one of these if rain is threatening, a true blessing when taking photos far from the car here in Florida!Just be sure to get the Freezer version for the better zipper and thicker plastic.

I like to use these for travel. They're much more economical than the space bags or other expensive travel packing compartments. I can put all my shirts in one bag, socks in another, underwear in another, etc. I roll up the garments and expel all the excess air. I can then keep my suitcase organized, maximize space, and minimize wrinkling. I did this for a 3 week trip around europe and it worked wonderfully to keep me organized. I'm sure there are many other uses as well, which I'll discover as time goes on...
