EGR 302651 Smoke No-Drill Superguard for Dodge Ram 1500 2009

on a 2014 RAM Laramie 1500 4X4 I gave it a 4 because it hugs the grill area quite close (maybe hits grill at the inside corners when closed) and makes the hood hard to close. Also due to limited space to begin with once you pop the hood you have almost no room to get a finger in to release the latch. I liked the fact it extends past the hump and covers above the headlights but really am not a fan of the small clear adhesive hood protectors and the metal clip system used. Over time my guess is some hood paint damage will probably occur. Be very sure they are placed in the right area. You need two protectors, you get two protectors and one chance to get it right. It is thicker than most of the guards I've seen and it stands up off the hood enough to clean behind it.

This bug guard was easy to install although I needed another set of hands to put install. I had very little trouble installing. It looks great on the truck and I really like the fact that this truck guard was wider than most which offers protection to the fenders of my Ram truck.

Easy to install. Quality seems good. I hit a buzzard going about 60 the day after installation and it did not damage or crack the guard.

Great product. Easy to install. Looks amazing. Getting great complements on looks. Also works great to. After traveling back country roads at night i notice only one maybe two bugs hitting my windshield. Before it was at least 30 or so.

Bought this for my 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT. I'm glad I did. Install was about 15 minutes with just a philips head screwdriver. What a sharp looking and functional item to add. I could not be anymore pleased!! Go get it!!!JR in CT

Not molded very well. The mounting holes underneath were off just a bit causing you to flex the shield in order for the holes to line up. Thus causing a lot of tension on the other mounts.The way the truck was designed there's not any gap between the hood and grill for the shield to fit through. So you'll have to slam the hood shut.

Product looks nice and goes on easily. However, This model does not fit 2013 Ram 1500 correctly, and unfortunately automotive tape is used on the edges (so you dont have to drill a whole) to secure the shield, so returning is not an option until I have the correct model to replace it. Good product, check the fitment on other sites or with maunfacture before ordering.

Good product clips are hard to slide on .. be careful when putting them on .cover your engine bay with blanket cause they pop out on initial install when thinks don't line up do middle holes first thentry outside ones ...

Honestly this a great product, only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because it came with a big scratch. Install was great took about 10 minutes. Great product!

Doesn't fit my 2017 RAM 1500 with a V8 HEMI. The air deflector is made for V6 engine.
