Love Thy Neighbor (Friend-Zoned)

Dear Asher...I love you...That is all...
Oh My God...where do I begin?Let me start off by saying I am completely and utterly in love with all of the characters that are contained within the pages of this series. I am not sure I have ever truly felt so much love, protectiveness and passion for characters, their well being and their development. It is amazing at how well crafted these characters are and how they just instinctively have you reaching for your pom poms and being their biggest fan. That was how I felt after book one, Friend-Zoned, and that was how I felt after this book. One of the most misunderstood characters from the first book was Ghost. He had given Tina a bit of a hard time, but slowly he started to warm up to her; accepting her for being the kind girl she was. He even went out of his way to do something nice for her after something horrible had happened that shook her to her very soul. But it was that moment he shared with Natalie that you sort of know that beneath that very crusty and crunchy exterior was a soft, gooey middle. He was truly hiding something so profound within him that it altered his very being and you just wanted to know that he could finally have a little bit of happiness that would make him smile and not growl or feel the need to be a "Ghost"....This journey was truly EVERYTHING I wanted for him. While the journey didn't start off the way he wished it could since he was quite altered and riveted by how his moment with Nat affected him, once he was FRIEND ZONED, they were able to explore each other in a more intense way...accepting not only each other faults, but their fears..and, more importantly, were able to start to face their own truths of their feelings for each other and the fears and uncertainty that was working like an anchor not allowing the wind the catch their sails and move forward.I loved how this book continued where book one left off, while recapping some of what happened, especially where it pertained to these characters or the flow of the story. I also loved how you got to see that crunchy armor of Asher's slowly become soggy and more bendable, especially when it came to Natalie. The path that each of these characters took may not have been conventional, and it sure wasn't the easy or short route, but it happened on their time and in their way..and in a way that two scared and fractured beings needed to have it happen in order for them to make sure that they no longer needed the safety net of the excuses they used to use, but rather had the faith in trust in each other to hold them up, even when they were down. The ending of this book comes full circle to a scene in book one, and to see Nik show up and be a part of it, while being there for his friend while supporting his biggest ally in book one was touching and just showed how much he grew as a man. To say I fell in love with all of these boys all over again would be redundant, but, hell...i sure did...they may all be different and unique, but they truly all have that extra something that wishes you knew them, had them, dated them and loved them while they were loving you back...To say that I adore this series would be a vast understatement. It is not often that I stalk an author and, truth be told, I cannot tell you how grateful I am that Belle Aurora hasn't taken out a retraining order against me yet *smiles*...but this is a series that has garnered two five star ratings from me for both book one and book two and I am sure will continue to slay me. I have gifted both of these books ten times over and find that I am so excited about them and so in love with them that it would be selfish for me not to share.UP NEXT IS MAD MAX and, well, I am sure you can figure out where I will be until that release day...that's right...stalking this authorCOMPLETE WINNER FOR ME AND I AM SURE FOR YOU, TOO, IF YOU GIVE THIS SERIES A CHANCE...

All the feels
I LOVED Friend Zone, then Belle goes and smacks me in the face with Love Thy Neighbour, it gave me all the feels I was so captivated by these characters and their connection I did not want to put it down. I am loving this series and this book is even better than the first. We met Natalie and Asher aka Ghost in Friend Zone, they had a hot night together in the club and have been trying to avoid each other since. Being that they are from a close knit of friends it makes it hard for all of them. After Tina moved in with Nik, Natalie moves into a new place of her own. Happy to be in her new place with better security after a long day of moving she is ready for a good night's sleep, sleep is one thing she loves. That is until her noisy next door neighbour wakes her up more than once. Peeved she decides to give her neighbour a mouthful she discovers her new neighbour is the man she's been trying to avoid, Ghost.Ghost is shocked to see a half asleep Natalie standing at his door in the early hours of the morning. The girl he can't seem to get out of his head after one steamy encounter. For the sake of their friends and being neighbours they decide to try being friends. The more time they spend together the more Nat gets to know Asher, he slowly starts to open up to her. The chemistry and sexual attraction they share is getting stronger the more time they spend with each other. They might be friends but friends with benefits is a much better idea. The sex between Nat and Asher is amazing but the connection they have and are building will give you ALL THE FEELS. Their new friendship starts to get complicated when they too start getting the feels.Asher is a broken man with a traumatic past, his past was hard to read and broke my heart. If it wasn't for Nik and his family God knows where he would be. Asher doesn't know how to receive or give love, so the feelings he has for Nat are new and scare the hell out of him. He knows Nat is special and she is someone he wants and never wants to lose, he just doesn't know how to keep it.With two hot headed personalities trying to make a relationship work, they really have to fight and it's not an easy journey. To make things a little easier they keep their relationship a secret from their friends. Asher has a longer road ahead of him, learning how to accept love, after everything he's been through. Nat doesn't give up she knows Asher is it for her, she loves him. He just needs to learn to accept it and try and love her back.I absolutely loved everything about this book. Nat has a tough exterior but underneath is a beautiful sweet and caring person, you really get to see another side to her. Asher, oh Asher, wow he just made me want to climb in and hug the crap out of him. Asher was so much more than I ever expected.

Ghost!!!!!
I'll be honest and say that i wasn't overly enamoured with Ghost when I first read about him, but i was certainly intrigued. You just knew there was more to him and his back story would be tragic and heartwrenching. It didn't disappoint!I love this story (possibly more than the first book...almost....okay, maybe more! I don't know!!)I want Nat as a friend and I want Asher as a brother. I love the relationship between these two (all of them really)The family that these guys have made is the kind of family I love. Family isn't about blood all the time. It's who we make x

So Good
While I have a huge soft spot for Nik. I loved Nat's character more than Tina's. Also, the character development and arc of Ghost and Nat's story is incredible, especially with regards to Ghost.I love these characters so much. There is so much heartfelt love between them that it is a pleasure to be along for the ride and read their story. This is a quicker read than the first one. The pace is better and it all just works so well. This is a must read if you enjoyed the first book in this series.

Good things come to those who wait.
This couldn't be a more fitting to title to the last chapter. Ghost(Ash) and Nat have fought to get to their happy ever after. This book has some tough issues and uncomfortable situations that while difficult to read at times makes you love them all the more. A great book.

This is one funny series......in a good way :)
I came across the first of this series in amongst a boxed set, boy am i glad i did. After reading the first, the rest of the set was temporarily abandoned so i could continue the story. I can't remember the last time i actually belly laughed reading a book, the characters are hilarious and i found it very easy to like them. Yes its light hearted but theres also a very hot sex element which is well written, ticks all boxes for me. Give it a shot, you won't be disappointed.

Laughing out loud!
I read "Friend Zoned" first, although you probably don't have to. Technically you could read this on it's own, but it does help to have some of the background. Anyway, this is at least as good as Friend Zoned, just as funny and emotional and ultimately uplifting. When I read a novel I like to escape for a while, and this book lets you do that. The writing just flows, the characters are real and true, and the story romps along. Can't wait for Max's story :-)
