Slavic Folklore: A Handbook (Greenwood Folklore Handbooks) First Edition

The book is great, but for sixty-plus dollars, I did expect a little bit more.

This is one of my favorite school books of all time. It is certainly interesting and entertaining.

First off this book is title Slavic Folklore but lacks the folklore. It is highly christian propogada and leaves out a lot of details pertaining to the Slavic pre-christian ways and gods. There is two creation stories in this book and both centered around the Christian god but where is the creation story of our ancestors old gods and goddesses. The book is a joke and written by someone who doesn't know history or their own ancestors. If you want accurate folklore reading material then this book is not it.
