I recently purchased the LALAPAO Solar String Lights AGAIN, because we love them so much. This time for our kids' play area in the backyard and to use during camping trips, and I must say, they always exceed my expectations! These solar-powered lights have brought a whole new level of joy and excitement to our outdoor experiences. Installed these lights on our fenceline to serve as a kind of illuminated boundary at night. Lights function perfectly - they're not blindingly bright, but at night they are bright enough for our purposes. Selecting the function is a bit hit-or-miss, but it's easy enough cycling through them to get the effect you want.After a day of sitting in the sun we have found that these units stay lit easily until morning (on a "twinkling" setting which my wife adores). After a couple of days of overcast the run time may be reduced a bit but honestly they last a lot longer than I was expecting. An excellent value for the money. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a solar light string.UPDATE 11/2019 : Of the four strings we have outside (and that have been outside since the original review) two of them have stopped working and the remaining two are slowly dimming. Solar panels are a bit grungy but cleaning doesn't seem to make a difference. My assumption is that the rechargeable batteries are failing. Still, after more than a year of constant use I can't complain. I'm going to see if the batteries are replaceable (don't think they are) and go from there.

Overall... I like the lights. I’m using them to give us a little light to work with at night as we put the chickens to bed. And when they are on it works great. Just enough light for us to move but not enough to wake up the chickens.However, they don’t always work. This is 100% from the weather and where I’ve got them. They are in a slightly shaded area and this limits the amount of light they receive. And the weather in Maine has been kinda horrible.But I’d be willing to buy them again and will if we find a need. My wife is thinking of just having them in her office cause they are pretty.

The last ones I purchased didn’t last a year. I hope these last longer but quality varies. I love looking at these lights on my deck and fence. Brightens the dark winter nights so I keep reordering them.

Came right away and was easy to install. Perfect color, warm white.

I have had these almost a year to see how they would do in different seasons. They light but not bright And- they work about 2 hrs in the night fully charged. Don't waste your money!!

Price was good and lights were sufficient for my application, which was lighting up a tree trellis in the back yard with flowering vines on it. I bought two sets of two. The first set looked good but did not cover the tree so I ordered the 2nd set. One set of the four stopped working after a few weeks. Since I had four sets and it only took three strings I was able to swap out the bad one. After that it worked great for several months but now the photocell has failed on one string so it never goes out and the battery eventually dies despite the solar charger. I had bought a very similar product from another manufacturer SIX years ago and while more expensive than these they have been up on my back porch constantly since 2016 and continue to light thru the night. I will have to go back to those for the next replacement. You get what you pay for, I suppose.

These lights are great still working. I have used one pack so far and they stay on almost all night to the wee hours of the morning. I recommend

They don't stay on for long and some nights they don't even come on.

We used the product to brighten up our balcony palms.
