HORRIBLE!!! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY- repetitive, poorly written and no real substance
Reminiscent of the circular ramblings of an annoying 2 year old child. So many words and yet this book says nothing. This is **terribly** written. It’s almost impressive.I think this is the First time I’ve given something 1 ⭐️ I’m usually forgiving but no joke...Worst book I’ve ever read.Insanely repetitive.DirectionlessBold generalizations that are outright wrong(women fantasize a ton too, just differently and it depends on the woman, generalizations in BDSM isnt a good sign)Very Long winded but goes nowhere.Chapters Poorly organizedGramatical errors(not a huge deal to me but it’s a peeve for some)Says the same thing HUNDREDS of times(CANT stress this part enough)It’s just unpleasant to read. I had to push myself through the repeating concepts and had a hard time trying to get through it, it’s frustrating. I Kept hoping the next chapter would make a point or give me some solid info but it would, once again, go nowhere. I learned nothing about the art of tease and denial. You will likely get annoyed at how bad the repetition really is-they obviously wanted to fill more pages but instead of adding solid info or engaging in discourse, they repeat the same concept over and over, you think it’s going somewhere but it never makes a solid point.I don’t expect much since this is a taboo subject that not a ton of people write about but this book was so poorly put together I had to make this review to warn others. There are certain opinions on how the woman should act and the focus is on the mans desires instead of the pleasure the woman, who is the dominant, can receive from this practice! This is the opposite of what you want if you’re looking for a manual or ideas for tease and denial. This book isn’t even suitable for beginners getting acquainted. So bad, worst book I’ve had to get through.Got nothing out of itOh well, You live and you learn.Don’t believe me? Buy it. See for yourself.I don’t wish the author I’ll but I am so disappointed that this book even exists. I don’t want others to waste their money.

Simple but spot-on insight into male desire
I recommend this book to women who are on the quest to understanding men. Well, obviously not ALL men, but still quite a few. Having said that le me quickly add that this book has also a number of shortcomings, many of which might scare away some curious (female) readers. For example, the author starts from the position that men (always) more interested in (having) sex than women. This might be true for the author and bunch of other couples out there but this are certainly lots of people for whom there is no such difference or even the opposite is true. Fortunately that doesn' really matter for the main point of the book so just ignore those paragraphs. Secondly, the author points out some specific fantasies such as cross-dressing and (public) humiliation that according to her are often exciting for the guys who just love tease & denial. This doesn't have to be true either (and in fact the author herself admits it) thus you can skip entire chapters if these a re not entirely your cup of tea. Now, let's move back to the positive. I personally think the author has been really able to put a finger on why (some) men just love tease & denial. In short, they just love to desire their partner. So, girl, if you also love to be DESIRED then read on. There are other important points such as you don't need to go full on in some kind of dominatrix or mistress mode to do that but you do need to put effort in avoiding boredom and repetition for this to work. There are handy tips. Also, the enormous power behind being able to talk (dirty) about this stuff to your partner as well as making him safe to share his fantasies in detail (and not being judgemental about this) is stressed several times. The rest is just a technique. Good luck!

Not really a how to book
It read like a autobiography. It gave examples. I think it needs more explanation.

Nothing really special. It's all basic common sense. I wanted more actual tips and ideas. And it relates itself thru out the entire book

Right on the Point
Very interesting, probably right on the point in a lot of things. Easy read. I'd recommend it highly. An excellent starting point.

Good exploration of the subject
The book explores exactly what it says on the cover, giving good ideas and areas to explore around Tease & Denial. A few stars off for the poor copy proofing, even the first page has a typo on it, as do many others. "What's at steak" rather than "what's at stake" etc.

S-type perspective, but still useful information
Great introduction. There are spelling and grammar mistakes though which is a bit frustrating. My main criticism would be that it is written from the experience of having been mostly an s-type and it shows in the writing perspectives on advice for d-types. Personally, I found a bit of an odd translation with that attitude. Overall, not a bad booklet though to learn more or get new ideas.
