Second time I have purchased two of these cartridges
This is the second set of these cartridges I have purchased. I find they last about 18 months as I run my pool filter year round. I switch the cartridges on a weekly basis. I use a strong water stream to clean the dirty one after installing the clean one. A new clean filter will register about 10 lbs. of pressure on my gauge. The pressure slowly goes up over the months in spite of my cleaning efforts. We have a lot of pollen in the Spring and that tends to clog the cartridges in spite of my best efforts to clean them. Locally, the pool stores sell these cartridges for about 40% more than the Amazon price. If you have a pool, there are costs associated with maintaining them. We feel the work is worth the effort as we live in in a hot, humid climate. We use our pool every day in the season. These cartridges help keep our pool sparklingly clean.

Not a fan, somethings wrong
From the second I opened the package, I realized that there was something wrong with the filters. They are the correct product number, they are the correct manufacturer......But they have an overlay that feels like the filter part is not breathable material but instead like it was coated with plastic making it impossible to clean as well as poor circulation in the pool. I’m Scared to purchase these again.

Great $ and Filtering
Watched a review from from a pool cleaner who tested 3 filters. Over all he thought the Pleatco was a good choice so I ordered the 2 pack. My discharge psi has stayed so much better and the clarity is great. Older filters I was using would have to be changed and cleaned every month but the Pleatco has been in use for 3 mos with hardly any increase of intake psi. So I ordered 2 more at a great price. I have used these filters a number of times now and they are the only ones that I buy. Just make sure when you install them it is clearly written which part is the bottom and put them in correctly

Best filters
We buy these every year!Our dogs swim a lot in our pool so it can get pretty dirty. These filter do an awesome job. We probably do need to replace them each year but we choose to.

Great Filter - Equal to Hayward and Much More Cost Effective
Fast shipping from this provider made the transaction easy. Pleatco filters are comparable to Hayward and much cheaper. I've used the PA90 for my inground pool and spa for years. Never had any issue with the quality. I clean the filter regularly to maintain optimum filtration.
