Can there ever be too much Micha?? NO!!!
This is a joint review of books 1 - 4.5 of the series with no spoilers! It’s common these days to see people bashing authors for a number of reasons. One of those reasons I often see authors being criticized is for putting books out too fast. Often I agree with that sentiment. I’ve read a lot of stories that felt rushed, and I often think, “That story COULD HAVE BEEN great, if only.” The simple fact remains, that it wasn’t great, though. Why am I talking about this? This is supposed to be a review of Jessica Sorensen’s novels, correct? Well, I think Jessica is definitely one of those authors that can spit books out. I have a hard time keeping up with her books. But, here’s where Jessica stands out. She still coughs up these AMAZING 5 star books! I don’t know how she does it. Not to mention, she accomplishes it in various genres. I fell in love with Sorensen back with the Falling Star series. If you’re into YA paranormal romance, then I highly recommend it. But aside from there being a romance involved, it was so completely different from the Secret series, which I would much more closely relate to her Coincidence series. The point being, she can produce all of these wonderful series at such a high rate of speed that it is simply astounding! To be honest, there have been a couple books of hers that I’d wished were better edited, but it’s always simple grammar stuff that I can read through, and never the big stuff like underdeveloped characters or confusing story lines. As with every series of Jessica’s that I’ve read – the Nova series is the only one I haven’t started yet – I highly recommend starting at the beginning. They all build off of each other in a chronological order.I’m going to keep this review pretty simple, and I’ll only briefly comment on specific books. I don’t want to give too much away. There are four main characters in this series: Ella, Micha, Lila, and Ethan. They’re all college aged, and they have all had a rough upbringing. For the most part, VERY rough. So, this is a story of over-coming – overcoming depression, drugs, abuse and neglect among other things. It has a very dark side that sometimes makes you feel like you’re going to be dragged into the dark yourself, but then the light comes and it’s simply brilliant! I love characters that speak to my emotions, and these did.The plots were for the most part – intense. There are always suprises along the way. I was never for sure exactly what to expect next. Boring and predictable are definitely not the adjectives I’d use to describe any of Sorensen’s work.Negatives? If I was to rate each book in the series individually, I’d give the last two 4 stars. The Ever After of Ella and Micha simply because I wanted to drag Ella into the light a little quicker. Lila and Ethan: Always and Forever because I wanted just a little more intensity. It’s a free novella, though, so who would have the right to complain??? Plus, even as is, I’d have happily paid for it – knowing what I was getting! So, and easy 5 stars to the whole series! There’s more to come, though, for these characters. I simply can’t wait!! Well, to be honest, I can’t wait to read the next of anything she’s written. She’s easily among my top 5 favorite authors, and I read – A LOT!!

Review for The Ever After Of Ella And Micha
Ella's life is finally going well. She has moved past most of her issues and has learned how to breathe through her problems. Then a box shows up containing her mom's old journal and suddenly she isn't so sure she can have her happily ever after. How can she live out that reality if she's never seen what it looks like? Micha will always be there for Ella, but he's been offered an opportunity to go on tour that he isn't sure he can say no to. He can't leave Ella behind and he isn't sure she'd want to pack up and hit the road for three months. Faced with the reality of balancing their dreams with their fears, can Ella & Micha make things work or will their relationship finally fall to pieces? There isn't much new to say about either Ella or Micha. They are both the same characters we remember and love. Ella is the same sweet, fiesty girl. She just has a better handle on her issues. She's moved on enough to not spend every waking hour thinking about her past, even though things do pop up occasionally. And then there's Micha. He just might be my favorite male character, ever. He's so freaking devoted to Ella that you can't help but love the guy. He's sweet and caring and determined to help Ella through whatever she is going through. I really don't have words for him. He's perfect. He is the perfect book boyfriend. He's hot, he sings, he plays guitar, he is so freaking in love with Ella that it hurts. He's just perfect, okay? This lives up to Sorensen's previous works. It's just the right level of heartbreaking and uplifting. Ella & Micha have been through quite enough, so I was a little nervous to start this because I didn't want to see them put through anymore drama. They've had enough problems. For all of you worried about that particular problem, fear not! This is Sorensen's least traumatic novel (at least that I've read thus far). No epic breakups or terrible revelations or spirals in unimaginable depression. Just Ella & Micha working towards making their wedding happen. And it was absolutely perfect. This is exactly what you want to see for Ella & Micha, a future with just enough imperfections to make it believable, but still perfect. All you really need to know is that this is the novel for Ella & Micha you have been waiting for. Sorensen manages to write a novel that is even better than it's predecessors, which is a feat because I love The Secret Of Ella & Micha. Even though you thought the pair got their happily ever afters at the end of The Secret and The Forever, here they really do get that picturesque ending that we all dream about. I hope their future is filled with many happy days.****Thank you to Forever for providing me with an eARC via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review****

Great read!
I was really looking forward to this book as it's the ending to Ella and Micha's story. I was so hooked on this series as Ella and Micha had to go through do much, especially Ella with her mum killing herself and her dad having problems. This book sees Ella and Micha preparing to marry on Christmas Day. Micha has to tell Ella that he's been offered a place on a tour he's been wanting to do and Ella has been sent her mum's journal which causes Ella to have to face her past. The thing i love about this story is that it isn't just a happily ever after but they have had to go through so much to have their happily ever after. It's books like this, that makes Jessica Sorensen one of my favorite authors.

finally he gets the girl
I was in tears reading this final story of ella and Micah. Its funny how you feel affinity with a made up character but that's how I felt with ella that she had some if my traits and her thoughts were my own, but we hide them and pretend they don't exist that we don't have doubts and moments of depression. I felt that Micah was a really strong deep character that you see him fully in this book his fears his doubts his patience. I loved loved loved this book and can believe from the first how they have developed and changed and adapted and grown up.

ANOTHER GREAT READ
I have loved the story of Ella and Micha from beginning to end. I'm sad to say goodbye to these two great characters but glad they get their happy ever after. Like the first review said, I would have liked a bit more drama between the two of them which the first book gave but it was still another great read from this talented author. I'm not into her paranormal books so I hope Jessica gives us more of the other books she is so good at writing.

Ella and Micha - spoilerish
I loved this, although I kind of missed that there was no massive upset/drama then get back together, it just flowed nicely and I suppose after everything they deserved to have a relatively smooth journey toward the end, glad that Ella didn't take the dark path (re-journal), she really grew up and fought for what she could see as her future we could all benefit from a Micha mmm, lovely read Jessica now hurry up with Nova x.

Another story we have already read in previous books but with more detail. Please end these charcters story
i am getting really fed up with these once loved characters. Plus I have a novella where the story already had come to a welcome end. Now we are going back in time before they were even married and going over the story in finer detail. I think the author should look at just starting a completely new series of stories with new charcters, ones that do not to and fro back in time to the future again.
