Classic Dr. Martens! Pro: They look so dang cool! Con: Give them time, they will break in! I sat with these shoes in my hands any time I was watching TV just bending them to try to break them in quicker. It also helped putting a bit of leather conditioner on them. Eventually I won and they softened up a bit. They're just so dang cute with fishnet ankle socks or sheer patterned socks.

I own the Original model of this Mary Jane since 1989 and absolutely love them but they are ready to retire now. So I ordered these since they are cheaper even with international shipping and V.A.T. to be sent from US to Sweden, go figure 😅right?I noticed with this new model the toe area is not as wide or raised. Also the buckles on the Original model had elastic attaching them to the shoe so they stretched a little when buckling, the new model is directly attached with a metal rivet. The Original were made in England and new model is made in Vietnam, and the leather is much smoother than the Original. The insoles are more formed in the arch region, which works for me👍. Also new model has the cool Dr. Marten logo is stamped on the outer side of the back of the shoe another plus for brand hoes 😜. It seems to be true to size and I had no problem trying it on with socks. I don't think it will take long to break-in. My feet were even slightly swollen since I tried them on in the evening and no problemo🙃. I will say the top of the T-strap may rub if one doesn't wear socks or has thin socks. I suggest bending and working the leather a bit during the break-in period to avoid blisters or soreness.Shipping was fast from US to Sweden, order on a Wednesday and received on Friday. I have been wanting these shoes for years. Everytime I tried to buy them different places they would be out of my size. Anyway, I have finally gotten them and at a good price, and so far so good. I can tell the quality of the leather is sub-par compared to how they used to be back in high school. (Docs were THE shoes to have in high school in the early 90's lol) I do like the fit, these run big. I got a women's 9 and it is a generous 9 which is great for me since I run a true 9 1/4 (which of course doesn't exist), I'm not a 9 not a 9 1/2, so finding shoes is very frustrating for me. Add to that my feet are noticeably not the same size as each other. They are pretty comfortable for standing in long hours, I bought them for work where I stand all day. The leather is stiff and definitely requires breaking in. The top rim the of the leather at the back of the shoe was the most still and uncomfortable. I bent it by hand a few times for a few days and that seemed to help the breaking in process. I have been wearing them for about a week and they are getting more comfortable each time. I'm hoping they get really good and broken in because I want them in red and brown too. Cute shoe with pretty much any type of outfit.

I have had these for almost 10 years now and I love them I just wish I had ordered a size down not a size up. I am a size 9-9.5 and ordered a 10. They are loose with out socks but with socks they are perfect

I tried these on at the shoe store a few years ago & loved them, but couldnt afford the price tag. The great thing about Amazon is that you can make wish lists, and watch the price. With shoes especially, the prices swing a lot, and suddenly i found my size @ 20% lower than originally!! This is my favorite buy in a long time. They were comfortable in every way, right out of the box. I took a long walk with my dog that very night and there was no discomfort. These are the only Dr. Martins that didnt need any breaking in! They are so cute, and high quality, plus the comfort- I couldnt be happier with this purchase!

First of all it’s not made clear whether the sizes are in US or UK so I ordered a size 7 for my girlfriend but she received a size 5 which I’m assuming it’s a US 5 ? I tried them on and I’m a US 6.5 and they fit me a little tight. So then I returned them and ordered another size trying to figure out what would be equivalent to a size 7. There was no helpful size chart to go off of. Yes they have a size chart but it didn’t say if it’s in US or UK sizes so I had to resort to going through reviews and to see what others had ordered. One reviewer said they ordered a size 9 but received a size 7. So I thought I had beat the system and ordered those bad bitches BUT THEN she actually received a sized 9! Like what in the haberdashery hemoglobins?!??!!? So I gave up. I ended up just ordering straight from dr martins website. I did noticed though if you select a size and right when your about to check out and pay if you selected the item it’ll tell you the size your actually ordering and I did do this for the size 9 it said women’s size 7 so that when I thought I had beat the glitch or whatever was going on there. Who knows hopefully someone can figure this out.

I love Doc Martens and these are particularly cute. They were comfortable right out of the box, and I wore them all day with no problems. With American shoes, I usually wear an 8 1/2 or 9 women's US size, and I ordered a 7 in these shoes. I was worried because my last pair of Docs was a 6 and they fit well, though I have tried 6's in the past that were too small and 7's in the past that were too big. I went with my gut and ordered a 7 in this style. They fit perfectly. By far the cutest Docs I own!

Love my shoes! Super deal and I know I will have them for a LONG time!
