Great product.
This product has been around for years. One of the biggest reasons is, I believe, that it works so well. The instructions tell you that it takes about 15 minutes to dry, which is true! It holds fabric to fabric, fabric to wood, and holds it well! Would highly recommend.

So strong, fixes gazebo tears
If, like me, you have a vinyl or fabric gazebo / pergola roof, and if, like me, you get 10 foot tears in it because of the windy season, and if, like me, you look at those expensive little patch kits and laugh hysterically, buy this.Joann Fabrics sells an item off the roll called duck cloth in about 4 colors. Cut a piece about 3" wider than the tear area. Working from above, on a ladder or steps, add glue to one edge of your patch, press and hold. Dries firm in only 4 minutes! Repeat for the other 3 sides, one at a time. You now have a repaired tear, but probably some hanging fabric or shreds below. Working from underneath, apply to the hanging material and push up and back into place. You now have a double strength repair. 65mph winds came along the next week, fabric flexed and held like a beauty.Your only problem is probably 'do I hate that the fabric doesn't exactly match the color of the roof'.Pros: Super strong, dries fast so you can progress to the next step without waiting.Cons: very runny. Example, you can't really apply and then take something up a ladder, it'll run off. Nor can you apply it easily overhead. Consider the logistics of how you're going to counter this beforehand.Wear a hat. Takes 3 washes to remove from hair :)

Amazing alternative.
Update: edited review: this washes out after 4 or 5 washes. I will use it to hold the patch in place so I can see it down. Otherwise, it's not tough enough for work pants. Amazing alternative to patches and sewing. We've used this on several pair of my husband's work pants. So far it is holding up well. Another neat application is to use this to HOLD a patch in place so that you can sew it on. Excellent. Recommended. 5 stars.

Worked great on the leather dashboard that was delaminating.
I purchased this adhesive to repair the leather dashboard in my jeep Grand Cherokee because it was bubbling up and delaminating again. Someone online recommended Tear Mender and this product works great for my purposes.Keep in mind that I did not have the luxury of access to the actual leather surface and had to use 23 gauge syringes filled with Tear Mender leather adhesive to inject the glue below the surface of the leather. While it was tedious, and I went through a bottle of Tear Mender and about 10 syringes, I was able to substantially improve the appearance of my dashboard by working in small sections at a time. The adhesive was a perfect consistency to fit in the syringe, and would dry fairly quickly to the point that I only had to hold the leather surface down for a couple minutes until it held. I kept paper towels and a toothbrush handy for situations where the adhesive would come through the seams and stitching. I had a couple accidents where the adhesive came out of the seams, but I was able to quickly wipe it clean with a paper towel. Once dried, it resembled the consistency of rubber cement and I was able to brush away any residue. In all, I’m very pleased with this adhesive. Two hours of my time and a bottle of Tear Mender saved me $3000.I wish I would’ve taken better before and after pictures but for anyone, who’s in the same situation as me, rest, assured, this product is perfect and will work just fine.

Disappointment
Let me be perfectly clear; nothing against the product AT ALL!! I’ve used this stuff many many times in the past to extend the life of work jeans. It works very well. The issue I had with this purchase was that the bottle has clearly been sitting for a very long time on a shelf and had hardened in the bottle before being shipped to me. Easy fix though, I’ll just go back to a store where I can check for myself to see if the product is still good before buying.

It works!
Works well as intended but the white residue left makes it very unsightly.
