Clifford And The Big Storm (Clifford 8x8) Paperback – April 1, 1995

I've read this book a million times to my son. He loves it. Good quality book pages and good storyline.

We watch young children at our church and they love Clifford!

Clifford books in our house are an absolute naptime and bedtime staple. They consistently have good themes and great teachable lessons. The great thing about Clifford books is the length; it is easy to include these books as part of a routine because they only take about 3-5 minutes to complete so you can read multiple books. The price is right also. Two thumbs up for Clifford the Big Red Dog!!

My 2-3/4 yr old grandson loves Clifford and this is his favorite of the books now. I read it to him at least 3-4 times in the past couple visits. He can recite sections by heart. His grandfather was reading it today and misread the word "rescue" as a similar "r" word and my grandson quickly corrected him.He repeats to me that the grandmother is "worried about her house" but Clifford saves the house and it' all "OK".

Trying to explain storms to a two or three year old is like jumping through a mine field: if you do not do it just right it will blow up in your face. This book was very helpful in broaching the subject without scaring my daughter. I would recommend this book. Regardless, if you are a fan of the Clifford series you will like this.

My grandson loves these stories, I'm looking forward to purchasing more.

We love to read history at bedtime, and this one is perfect to talk about storms with the kids.

I chose this book for our weather week. It was great with vocabulary and the kids really love it. Would recommend to any parent or teacher of little children

Son para mi sobrina, he comprado varios en inglés y otros en castellano. Le encantan. Son unos cuentos sencillos para contar y para los primeros lectores. Los argumentos son sencillos pero llenos de ternura y amistad. La pequeña no sabe leer y solo quiere que se lo contemos una y otra vez, después nos los cuenta ella. Muy recomendables.
