Kid's Guide to San Francisco (Kid's Guides Series)

I bought this book for my 8-year-old son as a part of his summer learning. I had business in San Francisco, and we decided to go as a family. For a week, I assigned him chapters to read and highlight and put post-its in. Ultimately, he had the assignment of giving a set of recommendations for our family 3-day vacation based on his reading. We were able to fit in three of his recommendations that weren't high cost, and he was really proud of having "planned" our trip. My only wish is that this series would expand and write way more of these books!!

Great gift for child moving to San Francisco.

Before go on trip to San Francisco, I bought this book for my son. My son is 5 years old, but he is avid reader and love facts/details. This book was perfect for him to get excited about the trip and also learn about fact/history about San Francisco. Will recommend this book to any kids (5-10 years old) who wants to learn about San Francisco before taking a trip!

A jam-packed, fun book. We just returned from a family trip to San Fran and started reading this book before we left. It was certainly geared for our kind of trip with fun trivia, interesting facts, and laid out in a way that made sense. And its thin size made it easy to bring along in my purse vs. the super thick mainstream guide books. I'd highly recommend for travelers of all ages!

Very very cute. Offers great facts and fun things to do in the city for free and for cost. Very informative and fun and interactive for children, adults and families.

Our 10 year old brought this on our San Fran vacay...it was helpful to us all. This book in the little Internet research was all we did for her trip and I feel like we had an awesome amazing time so yes I would definitely recommend the book .

Bought this as a gift my 8yr old niece who will be moving to San Francisco :(Fantastic little book and she loved it. Highly recommended.

How is there not a review of this book yet? This is a great little guide book to give to a kid visiting San Francisco (or in my case a kid growing up in San Francisco) so they can make their own list of adventures to take the family on. Most places seem both kid and adult appropriate so the whole family can have fun.
