Costa Rica ABCs: A Book About the People and Places of Costa Rica (Country ABCs) Library Binding – Illustrated, January 1, 2007

Lovely book on Costa Rica. It had exactly the right amount of information for ages kindergarten through 1st grade. Many of the other country books we have usually put a lot of extra information in the margins - but this book does not. It is a completely different ABC country series from the former. However, the text was already so thorough that we did not miss the extra facts at all. The book was very satisfying.My only complaint about the book is that the image cuts off the quetzal's tail! The text explains how long and beautiful its tail is but the images does not show it.

The media could not be loaded.  So we loved this book and wanted to give it 5 stars as we were really enjoying reading it in preparation for our upcoming trip to Costa Rica...until it abruptly ended on “M”. Anyone else missing N-Z??

This book has beautiful illustrations about Costa Rica. It is another form of an ABC book! The pictures make you feel like you have actually visited the country.
