My Last Best Friend (Friends for Keeps)

review by a ten year old
This is one of my favorite books. it's about telling the truth and standing up for what's right. after Elizabeth moves away, Stacey Merriweather is the new kid. Jenna Drews, the not so nice kid, becomes friends with Stacey. Ida May(a girl who gets picked on by Jenna) and Stacey start writing notes to each other. Ida has fears of Stacey blurting out who wrote the note, so every time Ida writes, she signs her name Cordelia, and on one note, she said, "I cannot tell you who I really am, but I am not Jenna Drews." Stacey once writes a note to "Cordelia" and describes what she really thinks about Jenna. Will Stacey and Ida become buds? read the book and find out.

Great book for girls.
My daughter’s therapist recommended this book for her to read as part of a therapeutic process. It has been a great book. Short chapters and easy for her to read on a weekly basis before each appointment.

My 11yo loved this! She has a friend moving schools and it’s hard being an 11 yo middle school girl! She read it over a week and she hates reading, but she loves this one!

I loved this book
I loved this book so much because I can relate to it. My best friend moved away 2 years ago I was so sad but after I saw her in the local newspaper and I read that she had won regionals I knew that she was having so much fun that I was not sad anymore. Shore I still miss her but not as much!
