Extremely high quality, dense foam! Great height and size.
I was desperate when I switched beds and finally realized I needed one of these types of support pillows. As a side sleeper with a small waist and wide hips, I only recently figured out how my center was just collapsing.I temporarily stacked soft towels under my rib cage and waist, and that got me through but would shift around under me during the night. So I ordered several of these pillows to try out, and out of 4 different ones, this was the ONLY one with truly high quality foam which wasn’t too tall. The others tended to be way too soft and collapse too much or be too tall and hard, pushing me out of alignment.I bought this one to try based on the description and for the great price / same day delivery. I’m So glad I did! It’s the only one I plan to keep. There may be others that are also good (I was curious to try the adjustable one here on Amazon), but this one is perfect for my needs for now, so I’m good.I highly recommend trying it if you want a dense, supportive, not too tall lumbar cushion!

I'm addicted - can't sleep without it
After suffering from intense pain due to a herniated lumbar disc, I went on a binge buying any contraption I could find that had any hope of pain relief, even if in the slightest. When this lumbar pillow arrived, I took it out and thought there's no way this will help....it didn't feel thick enough to do anything. The first night I tried it, I woke up in the morning and felt a hard to describe strange stiffness in my back and I panicked, thinking I'd made things worse. But it wasn't pain - just a new type of sensation that didn't hang around at all. Now it feels weird if I lie down without it. After sleeping on it the first night I now use it constantly - it makes a difference both when lying on my back and my side! I sleep with it all night, it's wide enough for me that if I roll from back back to my side it's still in the right place. And during the day (b/c I'm still recovering) I take it out to the couch and use it there whenever I'm still down or even reclined back. It is the perfect combination of firmness and softness for me. Definitely is a winner - I will probably still use it after recovering.

Helps prevent lower back pain! Great night's sleep!
This is a great little lumbar pillow, I use a pillow under my knees, a cervical pillow for my head and this lumbar pillow for my lower back. Of I don't use this pillow I can feel my lower back ache while I lay in bed. I'm a side sleeper by nature but have been making an effort to sleep on my back instead because it's the best sleeping position. I'm sure I could use this pillow 5 or 10 different ways but I just use it in bed for now. Its so flat that you hardly notice it's there, I would imagine using a bolster would be much more noticeable and uncomfortable. This Lowe back pillow works great! I washed the whole thing when I got it, which wasn't recommended, it took several days to really dry but from now on I will it wash the zipper cover. It's a pretty navy blue but I put another pillowcase above it to protect the cover. I might need a smaller pillowcase but a regular one works fine for now.

Very disappointed 😞
When i received this pillow I was so excited to see what it would do for my back pain! Well this is what I got.... It looks absolutely nothing like the picture and is so misleading. I tried using it and it was so uncomfortable. Is this really what it's supposed to look and feel like? If I'm supposed to do something so it forms a arch, please let me know. Otherwise, I think I need to send this back..!

Worth every penny
Recently I injured my back, which I have never done before. I spent hours researching info and watching PT videos on strained back, sciatica, and herniated disc. They all have pretty much the same treatment, which unless it’s super serious (which they all kinda are), is to not rest too much, avoid sitting, and use various pillows for comfort to sleep. I can barely sleep because no matter what position I lay in, I have pain. It’s been a week and a half since my injury, and I’ve just started to be able to sit right for short periods. I’ve started stretching which helps, too. But, this pillow is amazing, so comfortable to lay on your back. I’d been sleeping with a sheet tied around my waist per YouTube (which wasn’t very comfortable), and was so sick of it that I ordered this lumbar pillow. It is both soft and supportive. It forces my posterior pelvic tilt into a neutral position, creating a comfortable curve in my lower spine. There is much less pain in the sacrum / bottom spine area, and my poor neglected cat finally got some much needed lap time! I have wide hips, so it’s a bit too thin on my side, but anything thicker wouldn't work for lying supine. After all my DYI solutions, I didn’t think anything would actually work, and I’m still healing, but this was a godsend. Thank you for a great product!

Very useful pillow
I have chronic lower back pain, so I purchased this pillow to give my back greater support during sleep, and to prevent my turning over as well, in order to wear a CPAP mask more effectively. Though the pillow took some getting used to, I woke up the first morning and every morning since, with less pain and more flexibility. Though it does come with a washable cover, I have not yet washed it, and instead have covered it with two standard pillowcases. I am very happy with it. The only thing I wish were different is that it could be good if it came in a wider model. The one I purchased is sufficient for my needs, but other people with different body dimensions would probably need other sizes.

Put my back in excruciating pain. Cover had holes in it. Don't waste your money!
This thing is like sleeping on a concrete speed bump. It's supposed to be made of memory foam, sure, but it's incredibly hard and digs into my back, even with the curvature I have. Same thing if I sleep on my side. I have wide hips and shoulders, and a dipped in waist, so when I lie down, my back is misaligned. This thing was supposed to help, but it was so uncomfortable I couldn't sleep and felt like I'd been beaten after using it. Wish I could return it but the packaging was mistakenly thrown out. The cover had weird tears/rips/holes in it, as well. Looks like a cheese grater was taken to it. That's $25+ down the toilet. Please don't waste your money on this terrible thing!

Great for Lumber Support.
I left the pillow for a week before I tried it to allow it to decompress from shipping. At first it’s a little uncomfortable but now i don’t even notice it. I kept alternating sleeping with it until I adjusted but now I can’t sleep without it. I was recovering from an L5/S1 bulge and post partum. I was not able to side sleep at all without nerve pain. I only with I had this when I was pregnant. It provides amazing support.
