I can't complain about this kitchen mitt... in fact, I actually purchased a pair of them. They do the job - I can comfortably hold onto very hot items from the oven without burning myself. I feel like if I had a mitt without the liner, eventually, the heat would be too much (and according to all the reviews I've read on other unlined mitts, that's what happens). I like that these mitts extend up my forearm, diminishing the chance of burning myself when I dig deeper into my oven. I've even used these flipping eggplant on a grill outside, and it withstood the heat. I like that the colors change on the mitt, showing me what part got hot. I just wish that the price was lower on the mitt. Or at least, the price would have included a PAIR of gloves. You can actually get something very similar at Bed Bath & Beyond for $9.99 a mitt (but the blue color they have is not as pretty as this one).

Overall, it's not a thing of beauty. Seems to work well but the silicone material makes it hard to handle cookie sheets. Sizing is a bit too big for someone with small hands.

There's not much more to say. A bought a pair and they seem like they will last many years if not decades. Their insulating property is outstanding and they are long, reaching high enough up my lanky arms so that I no longer have any fear of burning myself. A good product.

It is not working for me!

It definitely holds with hot cookware but the inside if this is awkward. It's not like a normal mitten inside - there are two grooves for you to put 3 fingers on one side and 2 on the other. Just makes me feel like I don't have a good grip. Wouldn't buy this again.

This product is totally effective and exactly as described in the product description in Amazon. Its performance is impressive. I was able, as a test, to dip my hand past the wrist into water at full boil and hold it there. I counted slowly to 10 and felt nothing more than mild warmth. With the usual cloth kitchen mitt, I would have been badly burned.The kitchen mitt would more properly be called a gauntlet or gauntlet-mitt, as it extends past the wrist and well up the forearm, providing still better protection. The mitt is colorful, left-/right-hand interchangeable, with an embossed surface which aids in providing a secure grip. The material is flexible, seems tough and durable. In the event that I need replacement mitts, I fully intend to replace them with more of the same.The product was shipped promptly, and received sooner than expected, The seller contacted me to ensure that I received it promptly, in good condition and that I was completely satisfied.In conclusion: The product is extremely good, the best I have ever seen and the customer support provided by the seller is equally good. I recommend both without reservation.

I rated this 3 stars because one size, does not fit all. l have small to medium hands for a man, and the mitts are much bigger than I need. I can see them being a hazard for a lot of women, and definitely on children's hands. On the other hand, they're long and really protect from the heat, have a very good grip, and they're very easy to clean. If they came in more than one size, they would have received a much better rating.

I ordered this in blue but its purple its not blue at all. Its no big dea. I love that this goes so far up on the arm because im a cluts and I have a burn scar on my arm from hitting the top of the over. I love thats its lined on the inside. I was so tired of buying the cloth mits just for them to get stained and tear. With some of the cloth one you can still feel heat and hopefully this one holds up better.APRIL 19Update this was fine until my husband went to take a tray of fries out of the oven and the section between the thumb and the part for the rest of your fingers burned the crap out of him. That one are was extremely hot on the inside. Im not sure what the issue is but please be careful.The only problem I could see someone else having Is that a man with larger arms may not be able to fit their hand into this mit

Love these brought two pairs, look great and feel great! Love the colour too!! Easy to clean too! Work well too not burnt myself yet and as their quite long you won't burn your wrist or arm!! Deffo recommend
