Color of the wax is brownish, and the wicks sputter and crackle as you burn. Once burned out it leaves a black residue in the disposable container. Package makes outrageous claims about the products health benefits.

I don't like to give 1 star reviews, but I was so shocked at the bad quality of this product, I cannot give it more. I was very surprised at the constant sizzling noise the tealight candle made. But when it started to produce black smoke (I smelled it before I saw it) I was done with this candle. It had burned for a while, and what was leftover was not yellow, but a dark brown, burnt bit of wax and wick. I have never experienced this with any beeswax candle or tealight I have owned. I guess I learned my lesson. I returned this item and bought a better product from a different company -made in the USA. For a few dollars more, I can now enjoy the quiet warm glow and gentle honey smell I expect from beeswax candles.

Candles are made in China. They have no beeswax fragrance and the wax looks like none I've ever seen before. The color is very dark, somewhat greenish, as if the wax was dirty when the candles were poured. No way will I burn these. Am returning.

These candles are cute! They can be lovely decoration here and there even you don’t want to light them. I lit one on my desk while I’m working. It’s totally odourless and smokeless. The tiny flame is so reassuring. I think one candle can last at least 6 hours. And it’s totally fine to put it out and light again.

The candles sputtered and hissed all the way through. I tried three candles and they all behaved in the same way. The sputtering and hissing was so loud you could hear from across a large room. I had to return them. Very disappointing! Suggests the wax was not pure beeswax.

Poor quality, half filled tea lights with odd smell

great quality beeswax candle, love the natural scent. These are the only candles we use for our oil diffuser.

To be avoided. Not so good to go this far and have product in plastic cups made of????
