I've used about 50 feet of Somolux over the past month and I'm sold.It's so much easier to weed than any other brand I've tried, which has saved a ton of time. The press time is 1/4 of what some brands require. Instead of waiting a full minute it's done in seconds and I can move on to the next piece - for single items it's negligible, but when I have 120 tees to move it's a sizable time saver. The vinyl is heavy enough that I trust it's going to last, but not so much that it's unfit for the garment. Even the carrier sheet feels sturdier.Most importantly, when I order a length of vinyl I receive that length of vinyl. With other brands, I'd learned to expect 12"x12" meant closer to 11.5"x11.3" regardless of the listing's guarantees of accurate dimensions. I ordered 12"*25', and that's exactly what showed up. That alone is a major benefit - coupled with the quality of the product, I'm certain that this is a brand I'll be coming back to in the future.

Unlike regular HTV you cut with the glossy side up and I wish I would have realized it before my first cut. But it was a great product for the price.

First of all this roll is NOT 25 Feet! I was able to make 21 10 inch cuts out of this and I have 3.25 inches left! On the plus side it is very easy to weed, probably the best quality I've worked with. I just wish it had been 25ft as advertised so I didn't run out before I was finished with the project!Edit: the company did contact me and offer a resolution that was acceptable. They agreed to send me 12 ft to make up for my loss!

I took a chance on this brand, hoping for the best and I am extremely happy. I needed iron-on vinyl in bulk for bags I made for students for a couple after-school wellness classes I taught. They cut perfectly on my Cricut using the Premium Vinyl setting and I had no adhesion problems at all, using my Cricut Heat Press and as it cooled, the backing lifted on its own and was super easy to remove from the small areas that hadn't lifted on its own. The bags turned out great!! The students were so excited and teachers were asking if I had any extras they could buy from me.

ONLY buy this if you are weeding VERY SIMPLE Designs! Basically good for making Word Phrase Shirts, but NOTHING With alot of weeding. You can't see the design when it is cut, I used a blade length of 10 to try and cut a design and it still peeled up.Trust me, you will spend more time pushing and tying to hold down your letters and design then its worth. I tried SEVERAL different cut lengths and nothing. Stick to siser easyweed.

UPDATED REVIEW: I've been using this vinyl for over a year and have been through many rolls, mostly of black and white. This has always been my go to brand. I just ordered another roll of white a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, so many things have changed. They changed what they use for the cover sheet and it's much harder to weed. The vinyl tends to slip and slide under the cover sheet as your pressing it. The vinyl itself seems to be a lower quality and now appears really shiny. To top all this off, the sides of the vinyl was not cut straight when put on the roll. I use a vinyl cutter where you measure it on the side and use the slider to cut it. Even after lining it up, it is always crooked on my mat (it never lays square). I am sad to say, I no longer support this brand.I love this HTV. I've purchased 4 rolls now (3 different colors) and I couldn't be happier.I just wish they would make more colors. 🙏

I love this product, it cut really easy with my Cricut machine and was super easy to weed!!! I currently have the black in my cart to order another color. I hope they bring more colors to amazon Aoon

Although this HTV is a great value, you've got to be very careful when figuring out which side to cut. As you unroll the material you'll want to cut on the part that's inside the roll. I purposely bought this item after asking the seller if it could be used with a laser cutter and was told yes. This is not true. I am not a beginner with the laser, I've used one for several years and it didn't matter what settings I used it would not cut. It would engrave, but the brown melted residue it left couldn't be cleaned up and made the transfer look horrible once applied. I emailed the seller and communicated with them as best as possible and all they could come up with is that it was my fault and they were sorry. So now I'm out $30 for and item that I now have to purchase elsewhere to finish the order I'm trying to get out. Very disappointed that the seller didn't offer any other solution except that they were sorry and it was my fault. I DO NOT recommend buying from this seller if your intention is to use on a laser. I did try to cut on my plotter, but that wasn't much better because the back side is so slick that on certain cuts it just bunches up and slides around ruining the material. Go somewhere else, you'll be better off. I only reason I gave it 2 stars overall is because of the value for what you get.

After reading the reviews i was sceptical, however it was such a great price that i thought i would give it a go. It cuts very well on my cricut maker on the "HTV Not cricut" setting. It doesn't cut through the plastic liner sheet and the weeding is very easy (I do words and symbols). It is easy to apply and stays smooth, even when i try to pick it off there is no budging. My products are not often washed so i don't know its durability on the wash front but will be testing it on some t-shirts and will update my review :)

This will most definitely be the last time I purchase this vinyl. It's takes so much extra time to weed, especially more detailed cuts. It often moves the cut image from its proper place also, meaning you then have to position it as best you can

After buying many different colours of this vinyl I started to read reviews and got worried as I hadn’t did a wash test however I did a baby vest and I have to say I’ve had no problems with this vinyl it’s cuts and weeds perfectly and it’s washed fine! This was also done on a bed and Bath setting the only hiccup was mine catching iron on one of letters so I recommend this and will buy more

It was easy to use, cut beautifully, transfered really nice and easily. I've ordered again since my first time as its so good.
