Beautiful, flowing sterling silver
Beautiful, flowing sterling silver. Keep the cover on when not in use. Last surprisingly long for a metallic marker.

When it works,, it is great.
This pen is amazing when it is working as expected. I worked for Dick Blick for years so I feel I am pretty well versed with paint pens of all brands and all sizes. The detail you can get from this pen is amazing. Super high coverage and very opaque. The problem with pain pens is the pressure. Shipping from state to state can really effect the functionality of the pen. Now I am not trying to make any excuses. It is not necessarily avoidable even in the most ideal shipping circumstances.Another factor could be oil-based markers versus water based. I believe the water based markers can clog much easier but usually there are some hacks and tricks to remedy this issue between projects. Finally, the other factor is the size of the nib. Paint pens with very fine nibs tend to have more issues across the board regardless of brand or base. The oil based extra fine markers will clog and become more difficulty to clean. With water based extra fine markers, usually, you can remove the tip, soak in alcohol and the marker should work the same.So overall, maybe try a water based extra fine point. Sharpie makes a decent one that flows well and does not glob as much.

Not impressed
I thought it would be a marker but it is more like a paint pen. You have to shake it then press the tip 6 times to get it flowing. It made a huge blob of paint on a project. I love prismacolor pencils. And I was disappointed with this marker.

HOW TO FIX CLOGGING/DRYING OUT
FOR THOSE HAVING ISSUES WITH IT CLOGGING/DRYING OUT: stay calm, don't keep pushing down the tip or you will only have a big mess of ink spill. The nib is clogged with dried ink so the wet ink cannot properly flow out. To fix this issue I found that dipping the tip in nail polish remover for a few seconds and then writing on a scrap sheet of paper can revive the pen. The remover acts like a paint thinner, loosening the caked dry paint in the tip. To avoid this issue in the future, make sure to always close the cap on the pen when not in use and wipe the tip clean with a damp cloth or tissue once you finish using it. Hope this helps. DISCLAIMER: I don't know what affect doing this will have on the pen in the long run but it's better than tossing it after one useBesides the tendency to clog and overflow with ink, these pens are a beautiful color, very pigmented

Broke..
I usually love Prismacolor products, but this one left me didsapounted and with metallic hands… the tip fell out and never worked properly again. It ruined an art piece I was working on by dripping paint out of the area around the tip. Super sad…
