Model was in a box but not sealed in plastic wrap like they always are luckily all the parts were there.

Plans do not indicate the color of paint for various parts of model.Bought model to put together for my grandson who was recently assigned as a Chief aboard CVN-68.

I am satisfied.
I am relatively easy to please, so when I ordered this product and it arrived promptly I wrapped it up and gave it as a Christmas present to an engineer at Newport News Shipbuilding. He worked on the Ford, why not work on the Nimitz? He has already laid the keel and no reported problems.

Lousy directions, flight deck doesn't fit properly.
Super tiny parts, instructions only in Japanese, parts broke while being removed from the sprue, etc.

Nice gift
This was a gift for my husband who is a plank owner of the USS Nimitz. He hasn't finished putting it together yet, but he was pleased. He tells me details about living on it. He is enjoying working on the model.
