Winged monk New York exhibition (giant poster) (Ashes and Snow Posters) Poster – March 1, 2005

The photo itself is amazing and I saw the traveling show in Santa Monica but it was exhibited with sort of low-lighting conditions and I was not carefully looking at resolution back then. Now, years later I thought I would purchase the poster since I love the image. However, maybe it's due to the older technology used at the time but the crispness of image we're used to these days was not apparent in this poster. My expectations for it were higher since it was coming from a high-end source like a NY exhibition. I found it grainy, but passable if you are just viewing it at a distance and I would have kept it. The reason I sent it back was because it looked as though it had been shoved into the mailing tube too quickly and the poster had a chain of wrinkles across the length of it.

Very poster looking. Low quality. I didn’t like how large and the placement of the photographers signature was.
