A well-made tradesperson trouser
These are just what I was looking for. Well-made, comfortable, resistant to rain, and fit well. They have a slightly baggy fit--like most trades trousers, and a slightly wide fit. I normally get 34R trousers, and that's what I ordered here, but they feel larger than that. I used a belt for a better fit, so it's not bad. Nice amount of stretch, and plenty of pockets.I opted to add in the knee pads and the knee pad pockets are great. Someone else said in their review that the pockets were too high for this, but for me they are at an ideal height and protect my knees sufficiently.

Happy In my work
Wanted good strong trousers with knee pad inserts that would give me some protection as previous ones and moved around. They look good great fit and feel quality. Knee area is well protected and lots of pockets in the right places and useful sizes for tools etcDefinitely recommend

Quality feels good, size is perfect.
I bought these yesterday and have received them today. I went for Scruffs because the well known brand of work trousers I used to wear 20 years ago when I worked in construction have almost doubled in price.I ordered a size 36 regular, because that's what I would wear in jeans, and they are a perfect fit. Unlike other brands I've tried where the size is unpredictable and you have to scale up or down. The quality of these trousers is on par with those that share their name with a chocolate bar. Plenty of pockets, and the pockets are of a good size. The knee pad pocket is top loading, which is a must for me. The phone pocket is of a good size, and fits my Samsung S23 ultra perfectly with a case on it. If I had a bigger phone, it wouldn't fit.First impressions are good, I'll update down the line with comments on durability if I remember. If I don't update, you can assume they're lasting well and I'm happy.

Tough useful work trousers
Great work trousers. Will withstand welding and grinding sparks, won’t easily rip on sharp snags, tough workwear. Good value from this seller too.

Nice quality trousers
I bought these for work as the ones my workplace provided were a bit rubbish and didn't fit very well.I much prefer the slimmer fit on the legs rather than having really baggy trousers. Generally I find them very comfortable and has a good range of pockets and loops for putting a few hand tools in if you're up a ladder or something.I've only worn them for a week so far so too early to say on durability but they feel really high quality. I'll be looking to buy another pair soon.As someone else mentioned the waist sits a bit higher compared to my old trousers but I don't find that an issue personally.

Weirdly high waist, knee pockets don't open fully
Well, I had a cheaper brand before, so I thought these would be a step up. I haven't even used them on site yet, but already think they are probably a step sideways, or down. The materials seem good, but the design seems to have been done by someone who's never set foot on a building site - or put in a knee pad.The waist is weirdly high, so you either wear them like Simon Cowell, or with a normal belt position, just above your hips, the crotch is halfway to your knees.Second, why have they made the knee pad pockets, which need to open fully to insert a pad that occupies the full width of the pocket, with a top cover that is stitched shut down either side rather than just a free flap that fastens down with velcro. It is difficult to get the pads in when not wearing the trousers, almost impossible when standing as the pads are super stiff too with minimal horizontal bend to form around your curved leg - see my review those - and the photo here.

Pick a smaller size
Absolutely fantastic pair of pants, very comfy and hard wearing however don't go off the size guide.Select a smaller leg then you are. I picked 32l as I normally have a 34leg but could have got away with a regular leg. With boots on they are fine but take your boots off and you will be walking on the hem
