i bought two of these subs used hoping that there was some attempt at quality control. i feel utterly betrayed by amazon. the first used model was broken. first strike- burnt out coils from the previous customer and easily detected with my multimeter in seconds. second strike- the next subwoofer works but was a dated model, switched out by the previous customer as blatant fraud. they carefully packaged the switched out model to avoid detection. unbelievable that this got by returns. broken model on the right. switched model on the left. never again. i bought two new and hopefully i will write a positive review for an otherwise good product.got brand new ones. the thump is clean and mighty. unbeatable for price. using a small enclosed box, pushing the amp a bit with 2ohm wiring scheme. 5 star product all the way. just don’t buy used.

After hooking these up i gotta leave a review, i have two of these in a sealed box , seprate chamber .75 cub.ft box and man was i shocked by how hard these hit, and the sound quality is not bad either, have them hooked to a 760 watt pioneer 195w rms@ 2ohms x 2 i was using a pair of rockford fosgate punch before these and these hit a lot harder for less money. I am not saying these are the best subs in the world but for the price these are excelent.....

These sub sucks. I got a pair an hooked them to 1200watt class d monoblock amp. They couldn't handle it the voice coil burnt with in the 1st hour and I didn't have my amp turned up. There cheap and garbage.

As the title says this is just a initial review upon receipt. I Purchased this and a Lanzar HTG257 from Vm Inovations and I was not really pleased with the way it was shipped just in its original packaging.As for the sub itself it has a good weight from it due to the magnets but beside that the build quality feels very cheap. The cone and foam surrounds are okay for a budget speaker but the rubber shroud or cap that covers the magnet and terminal could be much better. The shroud although thick isn't a snug fit and feels loose but the real downer are the terminals they feel so cheap like they would break if to much pressure is applied. I am still holding out final judgment until i place it in a box and break it in. The price is very reasonable and if it performs I guess my score will be swayed to match. By the way the speaker comes with box specs on a small leaflet for sealed and ported enclosures. Sealed was a min of 0.33cuft and a max of 0.75cuft

Very good speakers, looks good, sounds good (after they are broken in), hits hard. The only problem I have with them (I have two installed in a custom made box) is I thought they would be louder... That being said, I am using an old amplifier, that is rated for 400W, not 1200W+. I just bought the lanzar amplifier, and I will see how well that works with these subs.Edit:With the new amplifier these subs were awesome. Recently one of them went out on me, after about 6 months of hard playing music. I am using a 1000W lanzar amplifier which has a High and low pass filter with the option to change the gain and the bass boost for the subs... I think I might of had too much high frequencies getting through and too much power. These were so good that I'm ordering a replacement. With the price that these are at, I'm not even mad about it. It was worth every bit of enjoyment.

great budget sub. bought two of them and put them in a ported box with 1 ft per sub tuned to 37 hertz. these slam hard. givin them each 300 watts at 2 ohms from a soundstream 600 watt 2 channel rubicon amp on a jvc headunit and these things shake my blazer pretty hard. i got 122.4 decibels peak at the dash. great buy. just dont overpower and make sure to check the dustcap. i had the 15 inch version of these before and the dustcap tends to come loose and rattle. i just put some super glue on mine and sealed it back down. no big deal. very satisfied.

I've had this sub-woofer for about 1 1/2 years in a custom enclosure I made for it about 6 months ago. The 10 inch version is perfect for my Jeep Wrangler, and would work just as good in a car or sedan. The quality is great. People say not to go cheap on your sound system, but think otherwise. These subs will hit just as hard as any other. My whole system is Lanzar and I am not at all regretful. If your having issues with budgeting Lanzar sub-woofers are your answer.

Exceeded my expectations. Cheapest equipment I have ever purchased and sounds great. I would highly recommend all the Lanzar equipment. I purchased one ProMax 10 inch subwoofer and a Lanzar 1000 amp. I custom built a fibreglass enclosure and it sounds great.
