VOLT Lifeproof Grooming Instant Beard Color - Waterproof Quick Drying Brush on Color for Beards and Mustaches

I was really hopeful that this would be the beard color I'd been waiting so long for. One that wouldn't make my face break out, since developing an allergic reaction to Just For Men after years of use AND a beard color that would actually work to give my beard back it's color, unlike henna, which never really worked on my beard after repeatedly waiting hours for them to take effect. Unfortunately, VOLT was a major disappointment.When I opened the item, it felt like there was hardly any in there. After shaking the bottle vigorously to mix, then using the supplied brush, it felt like there was barely any liquid on it. The brush almost felt dry going on. So it took repeated dips of the brush to apply. If this is the case, I don't know how it's expected to get even 5 uses out of that bottle, much less 31. And I only have a low stubble goatee. God forbid I actually had a full beard.Once I finished the application, what I was left with was looking like I took black shoe polish and applied it to my goatee. Even though the directions said it dries immediately, I let it all dry for about 5 minutes, then ran some cold water over it to try to get rid of that caked on look. What I ended up with was a good portion removed from the center of my beard. So I said screw it and ran some hot water with shampoo to take it all off. If it's like this, there's no way I would've been able to work out with it on the way I sweat. What I would've ended up with was the embarrassment of showing up at the gym with a dark, shoe polished looking goatee at the beginning of my workout and finishing that workout with barely any of the original presentation of said beard intact. Instead, I only ended up wasting $28 and about 25 minutes of my time. Fifteen minutes with the application and removal process of this product and another ten minutes writing this review to warn you all not to waste your money or time on it.

Love Volt!!! As a woman, I’ve been using it religiously for almost a year as root coverage. This seriously saves me at least 2 trips per year to the beauty salon. This coverage is legit waterproof so it doesn’t smear all over the place. My bestie in the pic recently used Volt for his beard and the results are AWESOME!!! Soooooo happy I can buy Volt on Amazon- makes my life so much easier!!!!

It made my beard texture feel hard. My nails and finger tips turned black when i scratched my beard even after hours of drying. I put this on at noon and about half of my beard looked white. This product will Not last as much as you think. It is easy to apply, however it is only good for lngee beards. DO NOT BUY. YOU CANNOT RETURN. O STARS.

After just one use (which didn't last 48hrs as they claim...) I "attempted" to use it two days later and the well was dry. ...and NO I didn't tip it upside down as warned in the instruction. My suggestion would be to just use water proof mascara for the same (or better) result. Sorry VOLT I wanted to like you so much.

Was looking for a quick alternative to Just for Men so I thought I'd give this product a go. After application, my beard looked like it had been painted with spray paint and appeared very unnatural. Texture of my beard was also very course and rough. Again, like it had been spray painted. Washed off immediately which is also contrary to the 30 second dry time or less as stated in the instructions. I wish I could give it zero stars, but, unfortunately, it is not an option.Save your money and time as this is not eligible for return and is a terrible, misrepresented product. Going back to the tried and true Just For Men.

This is a great product that works as advertized. In minutes I can tame the white beard and not look like Colonel Sanders!

Used once and my beard hair was stiff and uncomfortable. I will say the color was good. Not my jam.

You are better offing going to sally beauty supply and doing a gray cover up tube mascara brush for 8 bucks. It’s easier to apply and looks better. Not much customer comes off the brush and this was my first attempt. Has to put it back in the bottle several times Assume that each time you go in that’s an application. Don’t waste your money. Sorry
