DudeRobeMen’s Hooded Bathrobe with Pockets, From Shark Tank, Soft, Comfy & Absorbent Cotton Robe for After Shower & Lounging

Great robe - despite the name, really a unisex robe. But why oh why doesn’t it have a loop to hang it up on a hook?

I was a robe HATER... up until now. Every time my wife would buy me one as a gift it felt to me like I was wearing a “house dress” whenever I had it on. Needless to say, they were sent to the Salvation Army within days of receiving them. The “blousy” sleeves and the way they drape down to my ankles drove me crazy! Then I saw a re-run of Shark Tank and was introduced to the Dude Robe. So this year I figured that I would put the Dude Robe on my Christmas list to give it a try. Boy am I glad that I did! This robe is made of the same cotton material as a hoodie BUT is lined with terry-cloth! It is super absorbent, warm, and best of all, answers all of my issues that I had with regular robes. The elastic cuffs on the arms keeps water from dripping down my arm as I shave and the robe stops a few inches above my knees!!!When ordering I had a few questions/concerns regarding the sizes so I reached out to the company via their website. Much to my surprise, Howie, the owner of Dude Robe got back me right away. Beings that I am 6’ tall with a slightly-athletic-build, he suggested a small/medium... and I received it a few days later in the mail with a hand written note from Howie (when is the last time that you received one of those?)! It fit perfectly. He assured that if it didn’t he would send the larger size right out to me... how is that for customer service!There are only two suggestions that I would recommend, more colors and a single button or snap just below the collar in case the person wearing it wanted it completely closed (think of using it to take the trash out in January). Other than than these minimal suggestions the Dude Robe is a well thought-out product that every man should own.

This robe has some great ideas, hood, attached belt, sleeve cuffs, but it’s all just a bit wonky. The belt is super high up above the belly button. The length of the arms compared to the length of the rob seems off. I know it’s not supposed to be a long robe but come on. The hood is sweet and the material is ok. If this thing was like 80 bucks. And they fix the belt, I think it would be 5 stars. The length thing is doable. The belt is awkward has hell.

Let me tell you a little story about the Dude Robe. Every Holiday season, i pick one gift that I buy for my family & friends, the same gift for everybody. This past year's, it happened to be a Dude Robe which i didnt even own myself at the time. Every person i got the Dude Robe for made sure to call me afterward and tell me how incredible it is; so of course I had to get one for myself.I go on Amazon hastily, find the robe, and buy it. I thhought i was buying the Short/Robe set, turns out i mistakenly bought just the robe. I put it on, and refuse to take it off i Loved it so much. The problem was - i really wanted the shorts too, but they dont sell them on their own, only as part of the set. I wasnt willing to give up my Robe for even a couple of days to send back and get the shorts. I scoured their website for customer service to help me with my plight. I sent an e-mail explaining my predicament - within 24 hours, they got back to me and sent me the shorts!!Not only is the Dude Robe the most amazing, practical garment i ever bought - but the people behind the company are just as amazing!!Buy the robe, it isnt just a gimmick, the attention to detail and small changes they made to the robe is an industry shake up!!

My husband requested the Dude Robe as a V-day gift. He never requests anything, ever so I was shocked that he was so decisive about this robe.I literally purchased this on a Friday 2/14 and it arrived on Saturday 2/15, contrary to the shipping time listed on Amazon. So, the shipping was ridiculously fast!!My husband works Satuday mornings and the box arrived before he did. He found it on our front stoop and ran in with it like a giddy child. He ripped open the box and threw on the Robe in a single motion. I don’t think he was this excited when our children were born.It has been about 5 hours since he got the Dude Robe and he refused to take it off. According to him “it’s the best, most comfortable robe he’s ever worn” and “he wants to go to dinner in it tonight”. I have a feeling that it will be fused to his skin by Monday.Kudos to the Dude Robe team for a quality product that is worth every penny.Shout out to the President of the company, Howie Busch, for the lovely handwritten note that accompanied the Dude Robe. We are clearly fans for life and my husband is already planning his next purchase!

So, I was just looking for a nice robe for my fiancé for Christmas. Then I stumbled on the DudeRobe and saw that it was on Shark Tank. My curiosity was peaked, like "Why is a robe on Shark Tank?" I read reviews on Amazon, which then led me to reading more of them on the company's actual website and I had no idea guys have so many issues with robes! From everything to they're too hot, too long, they hate baggy sleeves cuz water drips up their arms while shaving, the belt thingy comes off and gets lost, etc. I hadn't realized it was such a thing lol. In a nutshell I took a chance on this robe and my fiancé loves it even more than I thought he would. It's an immediate go-to when he has any downtime. It looks awesome, like a boxer hoodie or something. Now I hope they make some specifically designed for women, cuz I want one but smaller!

I think the people that write the ads have a much better idea of what it should be than the people responsible for making them.The pockets for example are a huge disappointment. The way the two fabrics come together could be improved.The quality in all the seams is junky too.The belt sits way way too high on my torso (especially the part sewn across the back) but I am tall. I imagine it still hits all but the short guys too high as well.I actually love the robe and the concept even if this review doesn’t sound that way.For that price it could be epic! But it looks like they took the cheap way out.

Very dissapointed with this robe. I will keep it, but the material on the inside is not the same as in the picture. Tags don't even seem to be the same. For the price, I was expectating alot more in the quality sense. Sold as a luxury robe, this is very far from it. I would have never spent this much money on a this robe if I foind it in stores and was able to actually see it and feel before purchasing. Final verdict, vero dissapointed.
