Mark Lowry Goes to Hollywood

I loaned Mark Lowry on Broadway, but I gave it to a friend. Perhaps one day I can afford to make another purchase, but I like this one, and enjoy the singing. I just think maybe the Broadway one was somewhat better. Mark Lowry is one of my favorite people, so naturally I like having him in any video, and this one is no exception.Mark is an amazing combination of humility. grace love for humankind, talent, forgiveness, helpfulness, and I am sure there's more. Of course, he is not perfect, but none of us are, yet, I cannot fault him. I can think of nothing I dislike about him. At first I could. Ha! But, I did not realize that he was supposed to be in the middle of what was going on, or that he was actually Bill's right-hand man.If one listens, it is evident that Mark ministers with his extraordinary humor, his singing, and his short speeches, there is a clear message : "God is."I saw one conference -in Portland, OR, and I laughed so hard. The guy is incredible, and Bill Gaither makes sure folks get their money's worth. (Check out "I Do Believe.") I got home at midnight, but felt wonderful the next morning. Good music, laughing so hard with so many, and the good feeling in the Rose Garden that night. It was great. It was a big conference.I noticed that a few would have liked more of Mark and fewer singing guests, but the guy gets tired. He gives so much of himself. Yet, I am rather sure that he talks more on the Broadway one. I want both.I

I absolutely love this DVD. Mark is so funny. What a talent! He can simply go from telling a hilariously funny story right into singing a song that will give me goosebumps and bring tears to my eyes. And if you think you have heard a good down to earth sermon, just wait until you hear the one Mark gives near the end of this DVD. It is so profound and so true and so simple that I want every member of my family to hear it and see it. Thank you Mark Lowry for your beautiful insight into the gospel message, both through your song and your sermon. Loved meeting your Mama in this one too.

Enjoyable I especially liked the Michael English part. Mark is truly talented.

The DVD: Mark Lowrey Goes to Hollywood is a Christian videoe that blends music, talent, and comedy all into. IT is one of the best that I have ever seen. The Love that Mark Lowrey has for the Lord and shares with the audience is amazing and you can't help but come away smiling. This is a susper DVD and I would definitely buy from this seller again. The DVD arrived in excellent condition; exactly as it was listed.

I returned and was deat with fine,did see movie at friends home, Mark is funny,and great voice,but I was less than in worship mood from the way it was done,but that is just me,Still great songs.Just humm too much world I guess.But seller was great.

We originally rented this video from Netflix and were so impressed with it that we bought it to see again and share with friends. Mark is a character--truly a gifted comic and wonderful gospel singer. He has produced a masterfully done show for all ages. With all of the junk and cheap humor out there to be avoided, this DVD is worth getting and watching again and again.

This was one good clean comedy DVD. I chose this DVD BECAUSE WE REALLY LIKE MARK LOWRY.It has very great singing in it. Once you start watching it , you just have to finish. If you like Gospel Singing and Christian Comedy, this would be a good DVD to have for family viewing.

I bought this for my Dad who is terminal with Cancer to give him something to make him laugh and forget about the pain for a while. It served that purpose beautifully. Mark Lowry is a Christian comedian so if you are looking for contemporary raunch you will be disappointed. If you want good clean comedy it is quite good.

Mark Lowry at his very best. God's best Christian funny man has a terrific hit with this DVD. Would recommend to anyone and have bought it for friends and kept one for myself. Love it Love it
