Great tool. I use it to remove oil filter in my Triumph Speed Triple and works great. Solid build and I think it is quite universal.

Weak springs
Tool is good but the springs could do with being stronger, it struggles to giro some filters and will not loosen or tighten them

The first decent filter removal deice I've found!
I've had a ew filter removal tools, and this is the first one I've recommended to my friends. It's easy to use, takes a second to figure out how to flip from tighten to loosen (just pull apert teh jaws and reverse the arms).Gripped the filter perfectly and allows use of a torque wrench to reach the correct setting.It looks like it might be made of plastic but its all metal and very sturdy.Highly recommend this.

adjustable oil filter wrench
Useful extra info ...Adjustable oil filter removal / fitting socket. 1/2 square drive (could use a 20mm socket ) .Well made of cast iron , incorporating simply ingenious automatic jaw sizeing levers .Max open size stated as 80mm , correct .... but rather snug fit on my Bosch 72mm across the flats or 76 mm across the peaks oil filter . My filters have 10 flats .. Guess it depends on how one measures the oil filter .But I'm pleased it works and its good value for the cash..Used on Mazda cx5 Diesal .

Sometimes is doesn’t grip very well and slips, but it can helps a good mechanic who knows how to do.

Good for a while
I do oil changes everyday and use this product time to time. For the price the quality is rubbish. This is my second purchase of this item and again fall in pieces. Its a good tool but need to be built better for this cost!

Doesn’t fit what it says
I use this for normal oil filter now as it is pretty good for that however it’s no good for any bmw or Mercedes plastic cap filter. It hasn’t fitted and bmw or merc I have come across as a normal oil filter remover for metal oil filters it’s pretty good.

excellent product
this product save me from going full desperate mode with screwdriver into the oil filter. it grabbed really well the jammed oil filter which was in a really tight and awkward position. tried some other products before this from local shop but it didn't worked. But this tool saved the day. Well done
