So, I bought one of the lace-up versions of this shoe in 2019. (#1957# Black, size 8.5 W ) I have used them for water activities of all kinds, but have found myself more recently using them just to walk around in. They are a great "extra pair of shoes" if you are traveling because they are lightweight, flexible, quick-drying if you get them wet on purpose, or if it starts to rain. I love to go barefoot, but that is often a bad idea. These shoes give you a barefoot feeling but with protection. The sole is sturdy enough that even walking on rocks is comfortable (to me) and the tread is terrific. After almost 5 years of use (ok...not daily), they are still in amazingly great shape... but I am going to order another pair or two just in case these become unavailable.

These work great , i was able to walk on rocky shore and the inside made it easy to walk .

Soo I waited to write a review on these shoes Bc it’s not too often I purchase clothing from amazon, but I purchase from amazon just about every week, I’ve had water shoes in the past and I know some wear and tear can occur and fading can happen, and usually they’re NOT the most comfortable shoes.. HOWEVER… I have done nothing BUT rave about these shoes!! They looked so cool I added them to my wish list just for “kicks”, and my sister sent them to my for my birthday, and they are literally the most comfortable shoes I own! Im usually a vans, converse, or sandals person.. but these are my go tos now!! I wear them all the time just about Bc I’m always outside with our pool, or near our planets it’s so much easier! With that being said I would’ve thought there would be so much more damage to them! So I’ve attached pics, the first is the day I got them! The second is probably about a month in I sent them to my sister so excited Bc I was always wearing them, the last couple pics are from today because we had my sons birthday party and have been outside for the last week preparing for it and they still look brand new! I’ve shared this shoe with so many people Bc I had so many compliments on them lol!!! I just ordered a second pair on prime day and I cannot wait! Nope I’m not paid I’m just damn happy with these shoes. Please don’t get rid of them! I need more to put on my wishlists lol!

I was looking to get a spare boat shoe that I was given as a gift. They were made by Merrell and after looking and seeing they were no longer made, I wanted to find another good boat shoe. I've purchased others in the past, and had more disappointment than success. These were surprisingly well made, comfortable, a good fit and dry well after rinsing without odor. So far so good, vey happy with them

They look small but are actually true to size. I wear a women’s size 7. I can’t wait to try them. They have a nice thick sole. I like the color too. The velcro is nice and wide. thanks.

I bought these water shoes to walk on sand at the beach and also to walk around my pool at home. The cement by my pool scrapes the bottom of my feet. The shoes have a thick sole so they protect the bottom of my feet from feeling the hot sand at the beach plus they protect the bottom of my feet from my pool bricks/cement. Also they fit and feel great!

I got the pink style with the one strap that goes across the top. This style is very secure. It is velcro and holds it on the foot securely. I got my size 10 women's and it fit perfectly. Great for going in the ocean and walking along the beach. Nice rubber bottom to be able to walk on pavement also. The inside foot bed that removes got a little frayed near the toes after a week of use. But still a good water shoe.

I really wanted to love these shoes but when they arrived I noticed that the shoe laces weren't completely covered in the color I ordered (13 Green). It looked as though the strings were put on and the shoe was spray painted. I ordered another pair (#1951# Purple) that has a strap that goes over the foot and those are very comfortable but the Green pair with the laces felt very rubbery and stiff. It feels like I'm walking in a cheap shoe. With the other, I don't feel like I'm wearing anything at all.There was also a really strong chemical smell when they first arrived that has since worn off with wear. I love the color and style but am disappointed the color doesn't cover all of the laces - it's noticeable.
